Parts fit in stud.io but not in the real world...

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm trying to finish up a moc where the large solid wheel (54mm) part# 2515 is part of the engine, with a 6x6 dish fitting inside it.  It works in stud.io, but when I try to put it together the dish won't fit inside the wheel.  Any ideas if I'm just missing something obvious, or if there's a better way to do this?

That is odd.  I think there's an issue with the parts in Studio or maybe the collision detection.  I can confirm that they definitely don't fit IRL, but in the program if i repeatedly try to make them fit together making fine adjustments Collision Detection will sometimes toggle itself off on its own.  Then if I turn it back on it appears the parts fit until I fully move them apart, but then I can't put them back again unless CD is turned off.  It's odd.
