Ecclesiastes Posted January 31, 2021 Located in a forest and next to a lake in Mitgardia lies Larkspur. It thanks its name to the abundance of flowers in the area, mainly larkspur. Here Mitgardian noblemen can relax to the fullest. A nice swim in the water or go fishing. Of course a hunting trip is even more fun, poaching rabbits, shooting deer, or if you like danger, hunting bears! When coming to the gates you can enter the main building through the kitchen. Here the smell of fresh bread welcomes the guests. Going upstairs it takes you to the main hall, where you can discuss politic matters, have a nice dinner or just relax with a pint near the fireplace. Need some rest, take the stairs to the master bedroom. If you need some other kind of rest, you can visit the shrine. To fully enjoy the view, take all the stairs to the top of the tower and enjoy the beauty of Mitgardia in summer. Above the stables are the sleeping quarters of personnel, there's also a small jail and a weapons room in case the lodge needs to function as a fortress. Larkspur, you never want to leave this place! And a film reference just for fun:

dathil Posted January 31, 2021 Yeah I love how you integrated all those roofs and hinges that can be opened. Also great job on the interior
zoth33 Posted January 31, 2021 Excellent build. I really like the design of the tower. The whole lodge looks great with the little 1x1 round plates and the sand green. The interiors look wonderful, I like the statue, the beds are nice. The stockroom with all the meats and foods is neat. I like the stuffed bear up in the living room. I really like that you put the reindeer on the other side of the tree as the bowman was watching the fisherman, that usually happens when you are hunting something pops up when your not paying attention. Nice nod to the privy scene from GOT.
Aurore Posted February 1, 2021 Awesome building! The sand blue accent walls look gorgeous. I also really enjoy the overall shape of the building, with the curved courtyard, and all those details. It sure sounds like a great resort!
Kai NRG Posted February 1, 2021 Awesome castle, love how full of details it is - looks like a really fun MOC to play with! Great window design too.
jtooker Posted February 2, 2021 Awesome MOC! Great to see a hinged castle, they are a rare breed these days. The dark brown wood and black roof contrast well with the light bley stone and sand blue tower. I am most impressed with all the interior design you have done, especially butchering area. Seeing the minifigures going about their tasks is terrific, each is posed well as to tell their story. The landscaping around the outside fits this castle and your hunting lodge theme. I especially enjoy the pond area and the vegetation in and around it.
mrcp6d Posted February 4, 2021 It took me a while to appreciate the sand blue of the central tower, but I quite like it as a low-key accent/change of pace from the usual. The little scenes of minifigs scattered throughout are lovely and the full interior is just awesome. Great, inspiring work once again Ecc!
Grover Posted February 4, 2021 (edited) Very nice work! I always love the size of your builds and how you make them with a lot of detail. The opening buildings, the funny inclusions like the hunter and the deer, and your level of detail for the scale of the build are all great! Thanks for sharing!
