Iirc, the Avengers Tower has a really bad ppp, probably because it has a ton of huge pieces. The set that has been speculated to have bigfigs could also be that. I think they have only done like one set with two bigfigs, the Hulk vs Red Hulk.

They mixed the prices for Spider-Man set with Avengers set - previously they were 20€ and 40€ respectively, but it makes much more sense now (40€ for 200 pieces would have to be a 4+ set, yet it wasn't).

those prices mimmick the Homecoming sets from 2017. Of which were $19.99 and $39.99 USD. I can definetly see those being movie related now more then the past. 3 $20 potential movie sets was just odd to wrap my head around. This is of course assuming they are in fact movie related in the end

I also don't think it will be too much of the rubble/battleground from the final battle, because... its just rubble.

 

If the set is based of the final battle I'd wager it would just be a miniaturised version of avengers compound + the rubble and portals, like hogwarts and the helicarrier

All the talk about the D2C being the final battle from Endgame still feels like wishful thinking to me. Most of it seems to come down to fans being disappointed we didn't get 20 minifigure variants from the film and hoping they'll all get tossed in one big set together with little regard for the build itself.

The only thing that really stands out enough to warrant a large set from the battle is Thanos's ship but I think that has a more realistic chance of being the $150 flagship set for the retail wave (76193) than the $300 D2C.

People forget the Square Enix sets weren't based entirely on the video game. They still included an assortment of minifigures based on both the comics (Hawkeye, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Rescue) and the MCU (Red Skull, Loki, Nick Fury, the Iron Man suits).

Just because Korg is based on the MCU doesn't necessarily mean the rest of the set will be. It could simply be because his live action appearance is the one the general public is most familiar with.

We all know that this movie is gonna be SO BIG, but maybe that's the point - maybe it's big enough for Marvel not to reveal too much for Lego?

For example, they didn't reveal to Lego any Multiverse factors - that would mean no Spider-Men, no Electro, no Doc Ock, and no other multiverse villains.

So maybe Lego decided to just make 2 sets just like for Homecoming (provided that 4+ set is a different set not based on Spidey 3). If that is the case, I hope they'd release at least one set in 2022 with multiverse elements.

Kinda off-topic but I hope Homecoming 3 actually has no multiverse elements and Marvel Studios is just casting actors to play new iterations of their characters similar to J Jonah Jameson in Far From Home. Introducing the multiverse just removes any stakes from the MCU when dead characters can just be brought back from other realities.

Maybe we should speculate based off Episode 8 and then Episode 9 will hopefully be followed shortly after by a set reveal (If we are getting one). Episode 7 did not really offer too much

A multiverse aspect feels like a given at this point, after all we have heard. Admittedly it is unclear how much of the story would feature the multiverse if it does, I've seen some early remarks refer to it as a 'It's a Wonderful Life' but for Spider-man - so perhaps the multiverse aspects are only cameos or third act aspects with the potential to focus on them more in the potential Spider-man 4.

Yeah, I’m still reserving judgement until we see a trailer. The introduction of the multiverse is a given in Phase 4, just comes down to how it’s handled. Hope the sets are good though.

Arguably they removed those stakes when they introduced Quantum Time Travel and allowed Loki to escape with the Tesseract in Endgame.

Except it's the 2012 version, and that Loki is still the villain who wants to conquer the Earth. It will be great to take that character's development into a new direction.

That version of Loki from Endgame/the upcoming Disney+ series is in a different timeline from the main timeline of the MCU. It only removes stakes if they incorporate him back into the main timeline somehow.

Yeah, the sets are definitely the main appeal of a potential multiverse aspect for me. I'm somewhat hesitant about how they will handle it in the MCU as a whole. Like others, I am not a fan of the idea of Time Travel or Multiverse being used to re-introduce deceased characters, but any chance at potentially updated figures for the Raimi or Webb series is fine with me - and it gives the potential for a live action Sinister Six comprised of actors & character I would like to collect as a squad

I think the point they're making is that the price implies they're relatively small sets, ala Homecoming
