Based on the shield width, ca. 50 studs according to @Brick-a-brac (6,3m IRL), the scale is more or less 1:16. Therefor the overall dimension in studs could be:

  • Total length (w blade and ripper): 82
  • Length of Track on Ground: 34
  • Total width (w blade): 50
  • Width from track to track: 28
  • Height: 36

The V12 fake engine means that this at least isn't an empty box with a few motors like the Liebherr...

sold all the electronics, and planned to build @M_longer 's B model Liebherr PR 776 instead.

Motors are structural part of the build, so making the PR without them might be challenging ;)

the zetros itself is probably a hoax.

the only thing we will probably really get is this.

Yes, this part was confirmed by brick-a-brac. And another thing he mentioned was a manual pre-tensioning system for the tracks.
So with all black actuators it will pretty much be spot on to the real thing. Hope Kossi outdone himself again with this 3800+ piece behemoth and it will have enough torque to push some furniture around.

Markus might not be the designer.

He should have been, as he is the creator of the first Motorized Bulldozer 8275. Who'd be better for the job?

Hard to argue with that. I've been looking closely at the image we've seen and even though it likely doesn't reflect the final set, I can pick out some of Markus's techniques. Some parts are reminiscent of 42028, which he also designed.

I told you guys...the blade movement , height and tilt, will be linked to the hub ’s tilt sensor...

Here you go.

Sorry, I missread your message in the first place.
I thought you wrote 42128 which made no sense in my eye.

Mmmmmm doubt it... It's far likelier that they'll use the same approach as in the Liebherr

Candyman, candyman.

dozyyefwag771.jpg?width=960&crop=smart&a

It is definitely bigger than the thing leaked 2 months ago. The side of the blade uses the new tapered 3x11 panel that is previously used on the hood.

What catalogue is this from?

It’s looking promising which is a relief!

That 18+ age rating will confuse people even more if they are not confused enough... 18+ was used in Technic either for the 1:8 supercars, or lately for the sets that have little to none play functionality and are targeting casual adult builders like the Ferrari. As an RC set with (hopefully) lots of playable functions, what makes this 18+ when even the Liebherr and the Mercedes Zetros is only 12+? I hope it's not only the price...

18+ people have deeper pockets and more willingness to afford this thing

Now this looks a lot more like a 4k piece set lol. Here's to hoping it's got plenty of functions

My thoughts exactly. No matter how great the set might be, there's no way it will justify the price - and even if it did, it's still far outside of what I'm willing to pay.

The +18 thing is the most retarded idea TLG have come up with. So, it's not a toy then? What is it? Not suitable for kids? Newsflash TLG, adults have been buying LEGO in massive amounts for decades

Also, tone down ALL THAT BLACK INK please. Not very nice for the enviroment

At least that one is changing, TLG promised there won't be more manuals with black background. The 18+ branding is not absolutely stupid, e.g. the Art series or the Botanical collection is targeted to adults, it's not a problem. But they really need some consistency as this way the whole thing is turning to a mess soon.

Completely agree.

I think that, although Lego is an expensive hobby, TLG is losing the reference for some of the sets, to making the sets more expensive because some components that are -theoretically- very expensive instead of exploiting the possibilities of the stuff already developed. Probably, because cool stuff (hubs, motors...) reach a picnic more which is more willing to pay such insane a of money. Nevertheless, the set will be sold and will be profitable, but just wait for a Lego coming at 600 EU. I think it will happen in 2-3 years, max.

Anyway, as the Zetros, I'll only take this from the second hand market and only if I find a attractive offer! I the meanwhile, just-do-mocs! :pir-huzzah1:

The other day I discovered on eBay a vendor that sells new (in plastic bags new) C+ sets with the electronics removed at a reduced price. That is just exactly what I want from those physically and financially bloated app-driven set. I bought a 42124 from them, as I like the look of the model but have no intention of playing with it or doing some silly races or, as @kbalage said in his review, using the fart sound. I think I'll do the same with the Zetros.

Although it was not my original opinion when the PU was released, I like the potential of the new hubs and motor. But having the 42100, the 42099 and 42114 I have enough material for whatever I'll do. Maybe then those kits without the electric components is a good idea!

I normally keep my models assembled for something between few days and 3 months. Then disassemble and build something else. So I have no issues in using the pieces and stuff from other models. So, other point for this seller you mentioned @Ngoc NguyenNguyen!
