The "Castaway" and "Mesoamerican Warrior" may be of interest to LEGO Pirate fans....

I love the castaway and the little crab is so cute! Also that singer's headpiece would be great for the natives, the violin and bow also is very cute and useful. The remainder of the figures are nice overall.

Now that the official pictures were revealed, I think I like it a bit better now. That said, I don't like it as much as other CMFs...

Yes, apparently it's because of quality over quantity.

You'll notice the accessories of some of the minifigures are very generous; for example the Dolphin Trainer includes a dolphin and paddle board, while the Centaur includes a horse body and three smaller accessories. So that's significantly more than in previous series.

I'm rather liking the violin player...one of my crew may have to borrow his violin to fiddle for the sea shanties. hornpipes and jigs!

I've recently transitioned my Imperials to the Sushi Chef white leg / black boot pants. The Space Police CMF in this series also has boot pants, but they seem more (perhaps overly so) detailed with a boot top and belt. Thoughts?

Ordered the space pirate and violin kid today off BL. Will definitely incorporate some elements into MOCs!
