I think we should call it the 21.5 panelĀ

I am definitely on board with that.

Overall, the design looks great, but a minor detraction for me is the sill line, which is too low on the doors, which may mean the roofline is also slightly too low.

I agree, the roof could have been brought up by one stud and maybe look better.

The stickered front grille feels a bit lazy, I wonder if it could be improved. Otherwise mostly nice enough work on the looks. I like the new panel usage in the front of the hood.

The Jeep grille is iconic (and even trademarked, if I'm not mistaken). Probably FCA vetoed all brick-built proposals the Technic team came up with.

That would be a shame if true. I mean, Arocs was perfectly recognizable with brick-built grille...

Why this set dont have any gear-ed function? steering looks like use some link combination and 16t in winch looks like only for knob for winch.

other than that looks good.

Aren't the grille pieces printed instead of stickered?

It looks like stickers, but printed would be better since stickers would be very small (2 studs tall and less than 1 studs wide)

They really look printed: compare them to the Rubicon label:

I will add two 42115 differentials and make a small v8 using a crankshaftt either side of theĀ  front differential but linked together, for clearence issue reasons.

V6 crossed my mind because of pictures (of official set) with open hood...what I have learned is that not always top model should be representedĀ

Looking forward to your mod

Looking closer, it does look like the tires are the common 56mm diameter.Ā

Shoot, I was hoping they would be a little bigger.Ā

They'll fit vehicles using the older balloon tyre, though. So that's great, surely?

The steering is apparently "button-powered" as well.

That's just Marketing-speak for HOG steering, the video shows a conventional steering system.

The grill looks printed, but some of those pieces are 3x5 L beams (visible on the open hood pictures), so they printed two different bricks for this?

I think no engine was to be expected. Otherwise it would have the same and more functions than the Senna. Engine is difficult with pendular suspension in this scale I guess especially if you have to stick to proportions from the real vehicle.

I don't think it's too bad, but I won't hurry to get it. Maybe on next black Friday ?

TheyĀ are the same size as the rear ones onĀ new 2021 City tractor.

What is the gear visible at the bottom back in this photo for? Link

It's not for the steering. The steering is connected with a universal joint as seen shortly in the video.

To rotate the winch. The winch doesnt have a knob.

It's fine I guess, and the tread pattern is a nice change from the 56mm balloon, but a little more diameter would have been welcome.
