Those new panels on the front of the bonnet will be a game changer for me when they come out in more colours. They will be fantastic on 3mm hose for making wheelarches and panel edges. The same goes for the new 3x2 beam with the curved beam. Perfect for stringing onto stiff hose and making compound curves.
This set as it is holds no interest for me aside from those parts.

You're very right here. So many new ways to build curved exteriors with these.

Just keep in mind, you'll have to cut your hose into 2 stud long bits. You can't put the hose all the way through the panel and out the other side. The center axle hole, turned the other way, prevents it.

Low sidewall isn't a bad way to go. The world's biggest tractor tyre has low sidewalls, as seen here.

I was working under the assumption that that the wheels used were known to be the 30x20mm ones. Otherwise, I'm all for "tractor treaded" tires in all forms. :)

I'm impressed that Lego put full suspension including the two hard springs on a set this size, but the looks of the front end just aren't doing it for me. The hood seems a little too long and the headlights stick out way too much.

Built a modified version thanks to @Sariel's great speed building video

Since I haven't update my part collection with the newly released 2020 sets yet, you can see the compromises now and there and of course, I don't have any 2021 parts:laugh:

While the new 56mm tractor tire is very welcomed, I don't think it matches the car better than the old balloon tires though. The smaller version of the off road tire on 42124 will suite the car best.

Changed the color of C pillar and didn't bother build the roof stuff, also, modified the front fender.

Tried to move the headlight back and build a 3D grill. Sadly that I can't keep the iron 7-hole grill here.

I decided to start on the digital model using sariels speed build.

I don't know if I should continue as it is tedious work but have put my current progress in a spoiler below for download:

I will add my mods when a digital file is complete either of my own work or if someone finishes it before me (it looks like people have but have not shared it yet)

Regards, Snipe

I have fond machinery that could use 107 and 56 tire - Deutz Far 6046

https://www.deutz-fahr.com/en-eu/products/combine-harvesters/1194-serie-6040

And it could be made in 1:17,5 scale ...

That (Deutz Fahr 6040) could be interesting for @eric trax since his models are approximately in 1:17 scale

Sorry for to much off-topic...

Nice :D but bright green colour make me headache...

Then Fendt 5185 harvester is better choice - it has ordinary green colour, or Claas Avero (with lime colour)...

You just read in my mind ;)

I had some different idea with Rubicon tires, so I'm working on this model (since it is small it will be all manual)...and harvester issue how to make both tracks and wheel drive still gives me a headache (and of course bad weather for photos since Fastrac is finished and updates for smallest manual Unimog 219 are finished).

So I hope that very early in January this Rubicon will be available here

Looks good! I like that colour combination. Too bad there are so few technic elements released in bright green. The body shape looks square and nice for replication in LEGO though. :)
