Under te magenta 3x11 tapered panel, you can see some kind frame-liked crossed thing. In my reverse engineering, that is black 15L cross beam like cada's one.

oh NICE. I hope it isnt just a 11x15 or 7x11 frame in black though

You think it is 15 long? In that case it is quite possible that it is a side of the 11x15 frame.

Or could it possibly be a 13x9 frame, to go between the other sizes?

I tried reverse engineering model as much as I can.

But left rear wheel is not finished. I can't find how to connect it.

42124_3.png

Steering is driven by some link combination. Motor's working angle is very smaller than 42109.

42124_2.png

And I can't find compatible brick on frame-looking section. It is new parts.

I tried it but 11x15 is to wide and 7x11 is not fit. and if it is frame, still can't assemble because steering motor.

Alright, you seem to have been very thorough, so I will believe it. That would be great news, since it would be quite useful. It would also be a clear example of Lego improving thanks to competition!

I think there are two 7L ones.

That is very nice; I wonder how is that there are so much new parts in 2021?

I think something big is coming up in H2.

I really hope you have good feeling buddy, specially if this could include new tractor tires that I miss for last few years...

Honestly, I think it might be a new strategy by TLG to stay ahead of bootleggers by always having them needing to make new moulds in an attempt to bleed them for resources.

Good strategy also for us purists who do not like to look out of TLC inventory for specific parts; a bit off-topic some 5-6 years ago I bought some parts Frome shapeways and they were several times more fragile; they could be broken by hand...which was never the case with TLC parts.

I used to have that preference, but I really think you should look towards learning to use CAD software and FDM 3D printing, especially when both TLC and BrickLink charge so much for certain pieces (Bricklink is okay, but Australian sellers are a special breed of scalping filth for specialised pieces like the orange 35188 wave selectors or the Lambo Sian wheels). I design and 3D print my own Ultimate Technic rims because I don't want to have to spend insane amounts of money for just a wheel. I also saved about $5 by printing my own wave selector (the quality is exactly the same as injection moulding from a functional POV), and all I had to do was export the model from LDraw.

Nah nah, NEVER buy from Shapeways. Shapeways uses SLS printing, which is good for cosmetics but absolutely terrible for strength. It's a completely stupid service, and you'd be FAR better off trying to obtain a 3D .stl file instead of having to pay through your anus for something you can snap by just looking at it wrong.

@Bartybum honestly I worked as SW developer for over a decade and last 15 years I work beside teaching on "digital" paperwork, so trust me I'm tired of computers, not to mention 6 eyes operation and thanks to pandemic I have lost 2020 (and probably 2021) to finally "fix" my left eye...so I enjoy old school building (that is just from my experience no obligation to anyone).

About sellers in Croatia they are very correct with acceptable prices; problem are private "shipping" and package delivery companies...(ok we do not use ships on roads  but what kind of nonsense is selling under "new normal" nothing would surprise me)

Thank for honest intentions. :sweet:

(Ladies and gentleman sorry for to much off-topic)

This one's looking really good, especially with all the nice angles in the side profile. I'm not entirely sold on the colour scheme though, would prefer something a little more traditional.

Hopefully it doesn't pull to one side when driving like 42109 did in Sariel's review, although with an identical drivetrain the chances are pretty high it will drive the same way. If it's not fast enough with the new tires, larger diameter ones should fit on the back too.

This is one of the key reasons I think C+ should have steering trim buttons

You can code it in Powered Up ;) Btw I think it has more to do with the tolerance of the bricks and gears, this is not a precision system. It will never go dead straight, or even if it goes the slightest bump can misalign the wheel.

Maybe it can be coded, but it should be default

Of course, everyone's wish and preference should be there by default... That's why they provide a fixed system and a customizable one.

Considering C+ hub has internal 6 axis gyro sensor and lot of robots, perfect straight is possable. Lot of real RC car also use gyro for dead straight driving.

But.... I don't think TLG will do that.

In the grand scheme of things injection mould making these days has dropped in price quite a bit. Sure there is a different in a mould that will run millions of parts verses one that will run hundred thousands...

I have a couple of moulds that have run over a million times from china. A third of the cost for the same mould made in nz.  No one will ever win a price/production war against china.

Sorry about the off topic... regards matt

A cross beam would be SO GOOD!

Even just a couple of different lengths, like 7 and 13L would enormously help with building possibilities. Let's hope here's indeed a cross beam and not just another frame (not that there's anything wrong with those...)

So... in my opinion by my reverse engineering, this set contian

3x dark azure 3x7 panel - new in 2021, this color is only contain in here yet.

1x dark azure 2x3 panel which can connect with #21 and #22 small panel - new in 2021, this color is only contain in here yet.

2x 5x11 magenta tapered panel - new color in 2021

2x 3x11 magenta curved tapered panel - new color in 2021

4x white 56908 wheel and 4x black 73.1x20 offroad tire - new color and new parts in 2021

2x 15L double cross beam - (maybe) new in 2021

1x 7x11 black frame - include in 5 set(3x in 421115, 2x in 75288, 2x in 51515, 2x in 42114, 1x in 42110)

2x C+ L motor

1x C+ hub

1x blue wire connector and 1x red wire connector

If price in S.korea will cheaper than 179,900(price of 42109), I will buy this two. All parts looks useful. and C+ part is more the better.

I was thinnking about gear ratios on back axle and couldn't figure out the gear hidden behind wheel to comply with 36 visible connected to motor on lenght of 5 studs.

Will there be whe newest differential?

And if I'm not mistaken, differential might not be good idea for buggy, where there is a possibility that wheels will bounce off the terrain and it might loose traction on 1 wheel limiting traction on other wheel, that actualy stays on the ground.

I experimented with this on my RC version of 8048 buggy (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-51165/klimax/8048-buggy-rc-mod/#details) and never thought putting there differential for the reason written above.
