DAMN :look:
It's gonna be huge. 7feet ... about 2meter long? Wow
Looking impressive already.

Wondering where you gonna put it when it's ready. Guess you need a big shelf  (and firm)

how many of you would think it would be wrong to paint the props bronze or is it better to leave them as is

Mental! *oh2* Absolute huge too!!
Personally I'd leave the props as they are. A minor detail that doesn't really get noticed whether it's bronze or dark tan (I think that's what it is?) when there is so much more else to look at! The rope winches with the S-brick logo look really good, as does the rest of it.

I enjoy following this build. So satisfying to watch the flow of the squared parts into an organic shape.

ROV A-frame this wil be motorized with a door also motorized once the hangar is built around it

8cwXpWDh.jpg

ROV hangar is 3 decks high which should give enough clearance for the frame to fit inside

This is totally crazy. It is, as if you were building the original. No welding though - no nuts and bolts. Just studs, pins and so on.

Crazy. But totally cool and fascinating. You must have very very detailed plans of the original, right?

(On your post from January 1st, 3rd photo down, on the very left: That glass is used to have a nice sip of Whiskey, when you call it a day, right :pir-huzzah1:)

I am looking so much forward to enjoying this ship once finished!

Best wishes,
Thorsten

thanks Edwin that is good of you I may be in touch for your help and advice, studying your building makes this possible but not wanting to just copy what you do that would not be right, this is the second build (first being the Magne Viking) so its slightly easier to tweak it here and there changing parts that was too late to do in the first build plus motorizing everything,

some more done as pieces arrive but it just eats them up esp with the interior so there is no void spaces when you look through a doorway or window
