On the outskirts of Westface:

With the every growing threat of attack being an immanent danger, some of the regulars from the local garrison have taken it upon themselves to drill the new recruits so that they might be able to at least have a fighting chance at repelling the blue invaders.

It is a motley crew to say the least, but the more proficient they become could mean the difference of a free Terraversa or a Terraversa under rule of foreign power.

The garrison regulars can tell that they have a lot of work to do if they intent to repel these invaders by themselves. Some of the recruits seem a bit to well dressed for the heavy combat that's sure to follow, and some need to gain control of their weapons!

Nice scene, Blackbird! Those custom yellow jackets look great, and the makeshift setup is very pleasing. It will be interesting to see how far the blueberries get pushed back with these fortifications.

Thank you! Only time will tell if a couple of determined troops can make the difference against a larger force. It's happened in the past!

Nice build. I like how you made the brush sense and then put a barricade. Clever use of the fire to show a musket going off.

Nice and realistic ones. Are those regulars dressed like the old rulers of the island: the Mardierians? The outfits look a little bit the same.

Thank you! I wanted to put all my grass to good use. The fire was something I have always wanted to try, glad you like it.

Thanks! Yes and no I guess...

In the writeup for Terraversa this is the type of uniform for the regulars:

My own touch is the use of the conquistador helmets.

Looking good @LM71Blackbird! My only comment is, some olive or tan grass pieces would have helped break up the green a bit. Nice troops, and great job helping out the rightful heirs to Terraversa.
