evancelt Posted September 24, 2020 (edited) As reported by an eyewitness, the bluecoats in the beach bulwark were unhurriedly taking potshots at the redcoat frigate that was slightly out of range. They simply didn’t have time to react when the redcoat lieutenant and marines rushed in from down the beach.
