soccerkid6 Posted September 21, 2020 After his hearty breakfast Folwin gets down to his daily gardening tasks. Today he’ll be delivering carrots, so he picks some fresh ones while his pet chicken follows along. More photos. Thanks for looking
The Stad Posted September 21, 2020 Nice scarecrow, and I appreciate the subtle slope to the landscape you’ve got going in the background. Glad to see you collection is growing with lots of fun colors and pieces in Billund.
Kai NRG Posted September 21, 2020 Lovely little vig, nice angles on the leaves and the ground too as The Stad pointed out. Speaking of the ground, the lime looks really good, perfect complement to the orange fall tones.
Grover Posted September 27, 2020 Very pretty use of the dark orange leaves with the bright orange flowers that make the scene very autumn like. I like how they are tilted at various angles. The plants in rows at a diagonal give some nice spacing, too. While the lime green is artistically very pretty, it seems realistically somewhat incongruous with the rest of the scene, since, to my mind, the lime green is a bright color of new growth, something that would be unlikely in the fall during harvest. It would be interesting to see what this would look like with olive or tan instead (although with tan you'd have to change the base to something else like dark brown or stone grey), perhaps giving it a more 'fall' feel. Of course, this is a fantasy setting, so it could be that the lime green is quite normal for plants near to dormancy in this part of the world, in which case, this would fit well, or even the fall tree colors may be indicative of spring! Nice work, as always!
(Luc)ky Luke Posted September 28, 2020 Those tilted leaves make the simple tree very natural!
