Technic 2021 Set Discussion

Recommended Posts

I don't know if it's been mentioned before, but I suspect one of the 2H sets will use the tires from last year's Batmobile.

Thanks for it, didn't see it.

Is TLG serious? 450€???? I mean wth is going on??? I thought that with 450 for the 42100, we already reached a maximum, but this time, we get 3 motors less... Man, that's very bad.

I wonder where that guy's info is coming from. Does he have an actual source or is it just speculation and guesswork?

The actual source of all that was this post I guess.

That FB post doesn't include any source either, so I have to assume it's just guesswork concerning the details like number of motors and such.

I wouldn't expect a source being indicated for an obvious leak... I did not watch the video above but if there's anything extra compared to the FB post that should be only speculation.

Update:

42126 - License set - 1379pcs, €149.99

42128 - Heavy Duty Tow Truck - 2017pcs, €149.99

Yay, that means neither is likely to be RC. At worst 42126 might have some basic powered function but I doubt it.

I'm guessing 42128 will be similar to 8285 in terms of scale. It has been a while since we have seen a truck in this scale, last would be 42043 from 6 years ago...

Isn't the 9397 at around this scale? Or perhaps a bit smaller.

9397 is on at the same scale, yes.

If that 300€ is right then Aussies are looking at about $520 rather than $570.

Pneumatics are still looking possible, although now less likely.

I think the 42131 will have 8 motors because it will have 300 pices less then 42100.

What about 42127 and 42130?

How do you know that 42128 will have pneumatics?

i think 42129 is overpriced

Well hang on, we still know next to nothing beyond surface level about what’s on offer here

Based on part count alone, these prices are terrible. 42129 makes 42070 look like a bargain! The tow truck is more or less reasonable, but that's about it.
