This is ridiculous and wonderful.  Not sure if BMW would go for the license on it, but I'm supporting it nonetheless.    Nice job all-around, and I like the inclusion of the luggage, too.

This is a really wonderful model of (as you said) a rather charming car, and I can see it fitting in well with the other Creator Expert cars TLG has produced in recent years. I love not only that the door opens, as you'd expect, but that the steering wheel moves out of the way just like on the real thing.

BMW owns the Mini brand so they must have made a deal with LEGO in the past!

Yes, I meant that I just wasn't sure if this is the particular BMW model that they'd want featured as a Lego set.    But it does have a following of folks that find it charming and I imagine it'd do pretty well if it were released!

While it's a great creation, you haven't provided any extra information. Not even the scale, which is kinda important in the scale modeling forum.
