But because the castle had a full interior a kept it, and finally made some new photos of the whole thing! Sometimes you just need some time for yourself. Leewan Posted May 23, 2020 I saw it earlier on Flickr. It's a great model. My favourite thing is the interior and the "modularity" of the build, but I also really like the layout, with the inclusion of two big rocks, and the blend of wood and stone for the castle. It makes the model more interesting, and gives a story to the castle. It's as if they've built the wooden areas on top of the rocks first, and then built fortifications in front of them. I like the part of the castle perched on the rock, the sweet (steep!) stairs cut out of the rock, and the various cozy, well-detailed interior spaces. Grover Posted June 6, 2020 Fantastic build! You always manage to build these enormous projects, it's quite impressive! I like the interiors, too. The bright green against the dark stone makes me think it was carved out of mountain stone that hasn't weathered much, which makes sense because it's Mitgardia. Very cool to see the bedspreads inside, the oval table, and the various details you have put into it. I love that you have stuck with your character for so long and kept him going with this family castle. I think my favorite part is the 33° double slope roof.
