This was a great contest with so many entries. One of the main criteria for me was whether a model succeeded in what it aims to be. Bit vague, but works for me.

Oh wow, going through the list a few times to pick the final votes and even after that I know I could assign the points completely differently as there are so many great builds on so many different levels. For this competition with 60+ entries there should be a 10 place voting system. But my votes are:

Wow.  I know we are all saying it.  But truly, I never want to do this again.  Took me almost two hours to come up with my selections.  So many good entries. 

Word to the wise: even though videos are not required, if I am trying to win a competition, I am adding one.  How can you show functions without 'em?  Animations help, but I am still adding video.

As a lot of people already mentioned it is very hard to pick only 6 out of 61 entries (not counting my own entry). My strategy was to take out the cars I didn't like, what left me with still 20+ cars to chose from. After scrolling through the topic twice again, I got to the next list:
