Jeeez. I am getting too old and too slow for this :pir-huzzah1:

Thanks for clarifying!

Technically, it still is a fake Photoshop

One possibly made by TLG though, which makes it interesting.

Nice info! I will get official information about this mystery soon

Wait wait wait :pir-huzzah2:

Has anyone of you been on Helium? Maybe not today, not yesterday afternoon ... :pir_laugh2: but at anytime?

So: No Porsche with the new Mindstorms sets. Correct? I mean, I am getting confused. Just imagine election day (whoa no not that one, the one for the new Mindstorms sets to be released) comes up in a month and someone from TLG drives in an SUV with the Porsche-Box clearly visible through the window ... that would make a difference!

Oh well - have fun folks!

@Jim

Well... there is an update :D

https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-mindstorms-51513-porsche-lego-lab/

Basically:

They [Promobricks] found the Porsche on the Lego Lab page. The site was removed while they where reading it...

Now it's back online with a new set number :D

If you want the set, vote for it:

You just beat me to it. Voting is indeed up

They replaced the strange Photoshop image with a regular image of the Porsche 911 RSR?!

Yes, no, maybe, definitely not, a wait, maybe again....

It's a page to test the waters. Not sure it will ever see the light of day, but at least we need to try by voting.

Next week, October 15th, the new LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot Inventor Kit is going to launch. Curious about what’s in the box?

I had the opportunity to unbox a set to give you already a glimpse of all the new goodies.

Check it out !

@Ramacco

Thank you, that's early :D

Since the app is not released yet I think, can you do me a favour and test one motor with the PU-App and Technic-Hub? Just if it works or not.  :)

Since I am writing a review and I cannot publish it until the 10th, I was wondering; where did you get the box and do you have permission to post the content already?

Hey Jim,

I received the set directly from LEGO to film an unboxing video as well as creating other videos.
I am part of the ROBOTMAK3RS family and we are allowed to start posting content as of October 8th, 2020 - 8am CET.

A lot of other videos are being published here as well.

I am looking forward to your review!

I don't have the technic hub. The technology used is almost the same as the SPIKE Prime set.

Yes, I know. The current problem is: The large angular motor in the volvo dumper does not work, because they did not add the ID til today. Therefore I was curious if the small angular motor works. :)

Hey All,

a Windows app! Nice.

That one does not work by any chance with the 2I/O and 4I/O hubs, correct?

Thanks!

All the best,
Thorsten

However, I wouldn't keep my hopes up: with TLG's history of narrow software support, most likely the Windows IDE only supports the yellow (and maybe teal, too) SPIKE hub.

The Spike hub is running micro-Python and BT, the powered up hubs don't have python and use BLE.

You can use pyBricks and run your developement on any device under Chrome for the PoweredUp Hubs
