osterum Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Hello. I'm new to the forum and I don't know the language well, so I'm sorry. I want to start building a car made by my friend (https://www.flickr.com/photos/157131608@N06/) only on a larger scale and a technic. This is a cool hybrid rear-engined coupe with a drop-down roof line. I hope that I have enough skills to build Quote

I made a chassis with a fake engine and a working steering wheel. There is also a HOG that will be displayed on the roof. The gear from the differential holds up unusually, but everything works well Quote
schraubedrin Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 This looks like an impressive project. Might be fitting for the current small car contes: [TC18] Technic Small Car Contest Quote

Rudivdk Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Looks wicked! Nice detailing and tight shaping. But ground clearance is like 0...? Guess it is best suited for the race track then... Quote

Guess it is best suited for the race track then... Recently made a model with such clearance, I can say that with sufficient rigidity, the model will not even touch the ground;) Quote

Guess it is best suited for the race track then... having used this exact tires in a couple of models: Skyline, TA car, sumo bot, Formula car, they have become my go-to wheel at this scale because it allows your car to nearly sit on the ground. Often I cannot even pass a piece of paper under it, but it doesn't rub on the ground. Quote
osterum Posted April 6, 2020 Author Posted April 6, 2020 I don't have much time, so the progress is small Quote
osterum Posted April 8, 2020 Author Posted April 8, 2020 Тhe front end looks like this. I also changed the doors to make them longer. Added mirrors and I can say that it is almost ready. Quote
osterum Posted April 8, 2020 Author Posted April 8, 2020 (edited) Later I will make a collage and be ready to post the work. Question: do I need to show that the car fits into the specified dimensions? Anyway, L - 35, H - 11 with HOG (it can be easily removed), W - 15 (without mirrors), length between the wheels - 19 Other photos: Spoiler without HOG: Interior: Bottom: There are cavities in the front and back of the bottom that can be used to fix the model on the car carrier (the photo was taken earlier, they are not finished yet) Edited April 8, 2020 by osterum Quote
osterum Posted April 8, 2020 Author Posted April 8, 2020 The length and height, the width can be clearly seen on the photo Quote
osterum Posted April 10, 2020 Author Posted April 10, 2020 (edited) Perform diagnostics and additional configuration of the car Edited April 10, 2020 by osterum Quote
