Hello everyone,

today I want to present the version of the E194 designed by Bricks on Rails in the (very expensive ) dark green livery!

Compared to the official version of the site, I modified the system with which the external modules are attached to the main body.

As usual for my models I wanted to add the lighting that makes this fascinating locomotive even more real.

Enjoy the show! :classic:

Hey LEGO Train 12 Volts,

Thank you for publishing the BR 194. I´m so indescribable happy that you really made it in dark-green. I´ve never seen it in reality, in this version. Most of our customers ask for the grey or blue version after they´ve checked the required parts for the dark green one and have stumbled over part 2877.

I´ve got a special request. Do you allow me to use your video and some of your pictures on my homepage as a reference? I will ofcourse add a notice that informs everybody that you´re the owner of the pictures.

With kind regards

Martin

Not only the dark green grill brick from the BNSF...12volt-107.jpg

...but also the tiles, the brick modified 1x1 with clip vertical or the slope 1x2 x 2/3

This is a really nice model. What is the scale?

Thanks Commander Wolf, I think the scale is 1:43, a little lower than my usual 1:45

Too bad those clips for the pantographs don't come in red and is dark green really that expensive these days?

I agree, but maybe one day they'll come in red ...and yes some pieces are really expensive in dark green!

A wonderful model of a famous classic locomotive.
Your DIY lights add a lot of realism.
Well done!

Those renders are impressive, too!

Amazing model.... I really like these realistic looking 8-wide locomotives. And DkGreen is the only colour that makes it justice.

As an American, I have never liked European electric or diesel locomotives - they always looked "off" to me.

However, in terms of modeling, this is first-rate stuff.

I agree the blue version is not my favorite with the cream color on the fronts

Hello Sergio, thanks for the compliments.

For the render I use Stud.io (you can find the program on Bricklink); in Stud.io you can import the MLCad files and then generate the render.
