A lot of WIPs going on here is Thirdwiggville, so while the Unimog and SRT are still in progress, let's add another tractor.

The tractor came together in 10 days, which is pretty quick for me. Not sure about the mirrors or the air intake, but the rest is pretty final.

Now on to the trailers.

Thanks all.

@1980SomethingSpaceGuy The tires work great together, but I am not sure about the tire size for the trailer. These 56mm ones are a little small, so I may try the 68mm tires that are on the front of the tractor.

Glad you like the hood, but I stole it from set 9393.

OK, so the Atmos tractor is done.

As is often my problem, now I am off to the implements. First, I made a little plow, which, since I cannot seem to come up with a good plow shape on my own, here is a versions of @mpj's great little design. I think it works well.

The hooklift trailer is done. I still need a couple of parts for the dumpster, but the trailer is done. Features pneumatic lift and dumpster lock.

Finally, here is the state of the forestry trailer. I scaled it up, and I am not sure if it's too much.

Thoughts?

Only the trailer wheels look odd a bit. I prefer 56x26 ballon tires, as in the first photo.

Still love the simplicity and clean look of it!

Glad you like it. I think I am with you. I'll switch back to the 56mm tires, and scale the trailer down a little bit.

Made a simple disk plow for the rear.

Finally finished a Stronga Hookloada trailer for the Atmos tractor. Pneumatic dump and dumpster lock. Enjoy!

Oh, I want to build that...! (...once I get my building desk back from the home office setup...). What wheels are that exactly? The same as in your other tractor?

Thanks @Ludo Visser, the tires are 60mm Fischertechnik. I have used these before, but most of the time I use the 80mm Fischertechnik tire. I'll get to some instructions sometime.

I was referring to the tractor’s wheels, they’re Fishertechnik also?

I'm sorry I misunderstood. The trailer is Fishertechnik, and the tractor is 68mm F and 81mm R.

It feels like the only thing I have made in 2020 has been this tractor and all sorts of trailers and implements for it. Hope you enjoy a little dump trailer.

Nice trailer. That tailgate mechanism is pretty cool.

Thanks, it needed a feature other than only the tipping function.

I think it is finally time to set this MOC aside for a while. But before I do, enjoy the tractor in lime, with a new disc mower.

Features

  • PTO driven cutting discs
  • raise/lower mechanism
  • Offset trailer mechanism

Actually I'm more into race cars but your tractor and accessories look great, and the tractor indeed reminds one of the 9393.

I didn't notice your tractor has a PTO until this last attachment. Which gear drives it? I see, it's driven by moving the tractor most likely . Do you maybe have instructions or a digital model available somewhere?

I like how this has become some sort of a "series". Nice tractor, nice scale, not too large or complex. Also very nice color usage without any color vomit. I think I prefer orange as tractor color because I feel that's somewhat more original. As far as trailers go I like the blue forestry trailer most, I wish Lego would make more of these pneumatic models. I wonder how the new smaller tractor tires from the Jeep would fit on it, I believe they're about the same size but wider. I'd say the orange tractor + blue trailer would work great as a set.

Thanks for your comment @Erik Leppen. More of my builds of late have become more series builds. I enjoy the challenge, and this allows for my creativity to wander a little more.

I agree, I like the orange better. I like the forestry trailer and the hooklift trailer the most. I plan to keep both built until I can get the new Jeep tires. They do seem like the would match well.

To some extent, LEGO is pricing me out of many of the newer Technic sets, so something like this at a good price point would be something I, like you, would be interested in.

@johnnym Instructions have been posted here. So far I have the tractor, and the mower. I'll do more soon.

Here is what you can expect.

@Thirdwigg Great! Those instructions work very weel for me. Very much appreciated! I now need to find the pneumatics equipment. How come LEGO did only sell this pump in one singular set.  Say, is the pneumatic hose of a comon length? If not I think I still have some old un-cut pneumatic hose from my 8851. At least I hope so, because I don't want to disassemble my 8851 for the hoses as the upper part hasen't lost much parts in 30 years and is still working correctly.
