LEGO 42098 - C model Garbage Truck

Recommended Posts

Hello, here is finally my alternate model from set 42098 which is this rear-loader garbage truck. I think there is not enough garbage trucks in lego technic and that´s why I decided to build this one. It has 2 axle steering, opening doors, tilting mechanism, lifting mechanism, opening reargate and discharge plate inside. This model is build only from car transporter parts, not from blue car. From blue car I already built 3 another models. Next time I probably build something from of all parts.
Let me know what you think about the model, here is the video with functions:

Holy Moly - this is excellent! *oh2* Great look, nice functions, I like the container arm a lot, so simple and efficient.

The compaction is a bit unusual, but speaking about a C-model, this is really nitpicking from my side.

Summary: PRO level MOC and presentation. :thumbup:

Edit: would love an embedded video, instead of a link.

I've just finished this C model yesterday and I have to say I absolutely love it.

I want to write a short a review and some mods I did for the C model, and I want to include photos of the model I build. Is that acceptable to oyu, @Dyen? And are there any kinds of photos that I should not publish? I will not take photos of any page in the instruction, but is there anything else that should not be taken photos of?

Thank you! The review would be very nice! I´ll send you message and we can discuss about photos for your review
