SEEK AND DESTROY!

A raid was carried out tonight inside the Deland Republic on a known GLA region of operation. During the raid, a lot of intel was gathered on the enemy. BON Forces discovered what they believe to be a span of GLA networks throughout the area starting on Bahn Puor. Commanders from nations around the globe have been given the authorization to plan a multi-headed Search and Destroy Campaign against the GLA in the region. (SEE MAP BELOW) Tosul has refused to partake in the Operation and vows anyone who steps foot on their lands will be met with harsh retaliation if discovered.

All planning posts should be carried out here in this thread and open to the public. This should be approached like a real operation from a strategic point of view. Plan your attacks carefully and execute multiple phases in your assaults using different players for different aspects of your missions. Tactical loopholes will be exploited. As the missions are conducted, there may be updates based on the outcome so keep your eyes open for ALL possible intel. Players are to make a series of side build level MOCs adhering to the side build guidelines carrying out this mission. Players can do a total of 4 builds until April 23rd.

BUILDING GUIDELINES

• GUIDELINESLDD BUILDS NOT ACCEPTED FOR THIS ROUND
• Subject Line must be titled - "GLA Hunt - Player Name - Country"
• All builds must be new MOC’s and not prior builds.
• Photo Editing is to be kept to a minimum with only real edits of lighting and color correction.
• No special effects. Players may crop one picture of their MOC onto a background picture to help with their landscape if they’d like.
• Pictures cannot be bigger than 800x600Players may post a link to an offsite host such as Flickr where Higher Resolution pics are located.
• ALL PLAYERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE TAGS ON FLICKR FOR THEIR PHOTOS AND TO ADD THEIR PHOTOS TO THE GREAT BRICK WAR FLICKR GROUP TO SPREAD AWARENESS ON THE GAME! Tag us on Instagram @great_brick_war
• Upon completion, players must also post a link to their build in the AAR Thread as well letting the judges know that it is eligible for scoring.
• Scoring will be worth a maximum of 5 Points a Piece.

Yeah, lets talk about recon before stepping into a trap. Any more countries with reckon capabilities?

Our recon is fairly limited due to our weak navy, Alsarhian forces however are among the most experienced in anti terror operations having taken on the Walara dominance state, a BoN task force mission as well as Operation Hornet's Nest and Operation Valiant Sweep. We would aim to be involved in the elimination of hostile compounds and weaponry. Our armoured divisions are good, and with the right planning we could move in heavy vehicles to aid our efforts. We would also be willing to help with the conducting and funding of research for anti-terrorist uses! @SkeletonInATopHat any chance we could move our troops to Deland through Nak-Hu when the time is right? I also suggest that we perhaps move for satellite surveillance first - we will get a better picture of the scale of the operation and their equipment. If we send in a drone straight away there is the risk that it is shot down or at the very least discovered by the enemy - we can't risk losing the element of surprise, we are going to need every advantage we can get in the coming weeks!

Drone dont look good as an idea.

We have allrerady send a recon at G10 to have a closer look of their borders.
Until the end of the week will have photos from that point.

@marvelBoy123 As Tosul told that anyone who steps foot on their lands will be met with harsh retaliation if discovered, and even if we don't like it,Tosul is an intependent country, and we have not any right to deploy tactical army there. It is not an invasion

We must gather all the information about the camps and routes of GLA in Bahn Puor and in the Tosul mainland. 

@SATSOK can sent ground recon forces in G10 and also lauch the drone over Bahn Puor island

Also, there are information that there is GLA activity in E6 where are some mines and caves and in F6 where is a route to Deland. Is there anyone who can recon this area?

Another lead is about a small village in the north, where GLA use it as trade center so to fund their operation

Finally, probably in D4, GLA use these shores to move people to mainland

Please report who can run the recon missions ASAP so to prepeare the attacks on these targets

I agree but if we can gather sufficient evidence of terrorists and Tosul refuses to act, we are willing to entertain the possibility of moving large volumes of troops into Tosul despite their threats. We will treat refusal to act as an endorsement of the message and actions of this group.

I might be able to run recon over the area D4 if we had permission to use Lawrence Isle airbase, but again I believe that satellites are a more viable method for surveillance of hostile territory.

(I could have the recon ready by Monday evening latest)

Any kind of offend act must pass through BON. There is no time. We must gather all the information we can and prepeare to act. 

@marvelBoy123 can you have the  satellite images on Monday?

A recon team will be in south of Tosul and will try to launch a dron in the north.

Also there is the Tosul resistance. They need aid and supplies and they don't like GLA. We have to cooperate with them

Any of us begin to gather information, plese share them ASAP so Monday night to decide how to act

For now we are waiting the recon (side builds) so to decide where to strike. It is open for anyone to submit his side build(s) until Monday night so to be on time for the mission build April 23rd. Moday night is not the ultimate deadline. If someone needs more time, let us know

1) GLA have strong forces in Bahn Puor island. There are several facilities around the island, and GLA act like it is an intepented terittory

2) The Tosul resistance doesn't like GLA activity in the Bahn Puor. Of course they are also against Tosul goverment, so we as BON forces, can not cooperate with then in that part. 

3) an insvasion to Bahn Puor have two major problems: it is still an invasion to a country and need special vote from BON. And an invasion need alot of preparation and we have no time as GLA have a wide and dangerous network

4) So, before an organized operation against Bahn Puor, we must attack the GLA network so to reduce the risk to retaliate 

5) there are 5 major targets in this moment

T1. In B6, a small village with big GLA activity. They use it as recruitment center and also as arms and supplies distribution area

T2. In D2, the small port in Bahn Puor but there are alot of storage buildings around from where send and recieve supllies from mainland 

T3. In D4 there is a small harbor in where supplies come and go from Bahn Puor 

T4. In F5 there is a trail that GLA use it to transfer supplies and men to southern part of continent 

T5. Ιn C14 there is a big harbor where GLA recieving foreign shipments with supplies

According to your armed forces, choose where you want to attack. Of course you can choose more than one per target 

After these strikes we will be able to discuss the attack against the main bases in Bahn Puor

What should we do following the Tosul forces raid? Is it genuine? 

Our best course of action is to continue the planned objectives and continue recon of Bahn Puor through our contacts in the resistance to see if Tosul really has acted as it claims.
