I agree on the body - looks fantastic! I don't mind the high chassis, but I don't like that the mudguards are so offset regarding the wheels - kinda looks like the chassis is to long for the body. Otherwise great work. I was thinking something similar, but I guess I'd better get a new idea while it is still time...

Best regards,

miha

Are there people arguing for moderation, taste and subtlety for a Mad Max creation?

Y'all want dry water next?

Glorious model. Love all the colours and tiny little details.

I think i prefered the purple fenders more.

EDIT:
Now that i compared them side by side. I think the blue version is better.

Yeah, purple is too saturated for Mad Max theme in my opinion.

Agreed!

Every mad max vehicle currently is very over the top. This bodywork is amazing but the monster truck chassis below kinda is too much.
A lower chassis would fit better.

Lower chassis?!! Oh no!

Do you think it will be safer when closer to the ground?

Keep the chassis. I think it's great and a wonderful nod to the Rebel Wrecker. Awesome build!

I'll keep it for sure, I just like monster trucks. Just because. Thanks! :)

I was thinking about 2 axles in the rear, oscilating on live axle, but I don't know if I have enough time to manage it.

I much prefer the trophy/monster truck version

Same here, the original design fits way better.

Agreed

Actually on picture is just a body placed on wheels without any chassis

This version is the final one:

I don't think I'll do any changes, maybe a bit of front axle redesign to reduce slack but the rest will be as on picture :pir-classic:

I just like monster trucks of any kind.

Are you planning on making instructions for this beast if it wins?

I have an unfinished digital file for now. 0 experience with making instructions. It it win I may consider finishing the file and making instructions or to learn it (or just reversed video of disassembly).

The build looks awesome. Those chains look awesome, but the best part: the CHICK.

I would be interested in the digital file and/or instructions.

Awww, that background is awesome!

I would personally focus on the car only (lower depth of field), but the rust fit the roadwarrior theme perfectly.

Thanks! Yeah, I thought that rusty places are natural environment for creations like this :pir-classic:

I think it looks great and I love the fact you had the perfect place to take photos. But part of me thinks it looks a lot like 41999 Boss crawler with a big engine and a crane on the back.
