DC Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

We're in February already and I still have yet to see the minifigure series anywhere. I literally check Target every weekend and have yet to encounter them. The only place I have seen them listed is at Michael's, and unfortunately Michael's decided to raise the price by $2.00.

Besides the Lego Stores, Toys R Us, and Mastermind Toys near me, I've yet to see the CMF's in other stores as well. My closest Walmart for example STILL had the Disney Series 2 CMF's out, with another unopened case behind it.

They were in a weird place at my nearest Walmart, tucked into the Trolls display beside the Trolls polybag set.

Nope, they actually sent out a pallet to most Walmarts that had the majority of the troll sets, and a little box at the top filled with dc cmfs.. it looks weird

The reason why people / leakers say they feel sorry for DC fans is because all the minifigures are existing figures (some with new suits, but whatever) and the builds are even worse than before. At least 3 Batman sets are coming this summer. Maybe there is one new figure but a stand-in figure was used.

As annoying as that is, at least we got the CMF series and we're getting the Wonder Woman set. Also, is Batgirl in this this wave by any chance?

It also comes down to the Bat-Vehicles (which I absolutely love), as long as they keep introducing new vehicles!

 

I don't know, 3 sets seems low,  with the announcement of the new venom set, I think those 6 sets under TBC could all be DC/Batman sets.

3-4 Batman sets seems pretty reasonable. 2014- 4 sets. 2015- 2 sets. 2016-4 sets. 2017- Lego Batman Movie. 2018-3 sets. 2019-80th anniversary. Just hoping for 2-3 entirely new characters OR at the very least some variants of the birds of prey/robin/nightwing/batgirl. Just a thought.

There won't be. I also like Batcentric vehicles if they're making sense in universe, but what is coming this year is really stretching it imo.

I used to think that  way as well! 

But the greater the variety the more fun you can displaying then within the Batacve!

One thing I wish lego would  do is follow the Harry Potter theme and release a connected Wayne Manor with the Batacve! 

Are you able to identify the price structure for this wave of 3 Batman sets? 

Also must admit, pretty upset about all love Marvel is getting atm!

I wouldn't necessarily call it love. The only set I'd call decent is the Black Widow movie set, the rest is utter garbage

As a 150 piece $10 set with an exclusive minifigure, it's kinda cool. As a set, not so much. The builds are ugly and oversized, and we don't need more mechs.
