I hadn't even thought of that. I hope they'll include them in future sets.

Lego Harry Potter: Ghosts

Looks cool! (Darn it, now I might have to grab some to play with) How’d you put together your Bloody Baron?

Lego Harry Potter: Ghosts

This makes me remember how much we need the other Ghosts of Hogwarts! The Bloody Baron (yours is so cool!), the Fat Friar and Helena Ravenclaw (she could probably come in a Deathly Hallows set).

Don’t forget Myrtle! At least she and the Grey Lady/Helena Ravenclaw have chances to show up in sets - the Bloody Baron and Fat Friar only really appear during the welcome feast, so they’d really have to show up in a CMF.

I forgot about her! You're right! Fingers crossed we get these 5 ghosts in LEGO form! Peeves would be a lot to ask tho... *sigh*

I'm 99% sure that's the Elizabeth Swan hair in grey, Skeleton Barbossa's head, torso and legs form Unkar's Thug (Rey's Speeder from TFA)

Don't forget NHN also had very little screentime, I could definetely see them doing the remaining ghosts in other sets

Still he keeps showing up in the games. And we did receive the 4 founders who didn't really appear in the movies either. So I guess everything is possible.

Awe right! Maybe they will make minifigures based on the real Chocolate Frog Cards, so probably we get the founder of Hogsmade someday?

It’s not about amount of screen time, it’s where it is. The Bloody Baron and Fat Friar only really appear during the first year welcome feast - which already exists as a set - which means there really isn’t another set to shoehorn them in to.

Yeah they might be better off in a cmf series. Although I really wouldn't mind for Lego to just put them in any other castle piece.

So PatSonBricks, a German youtuber was at toy fair and he made a lengthy video describing everything he saw. Video linked down below, read description for timestamps regarding Harry Potter. Video is in German so I used autogenerated subtitles then copied those subtitles into google translate for the part regarding Harry Potter. Here is the translation (keep in mind this is autogenerated subtitles put into google translate so it's a little rough)

He clearly mentions the burrow, the advent calendar and a smaller classroom set.

He also mentions a larger set, either a hogwarts addition or diagon alley (winkelgasse)

there was also a great heart there is the house of the weasleys with the car that will come now I have to think but one set what was the other is exactly one classroom there was and the advent calendar also has many nice little parts with it and there are new attachments for the game set for the castle so there is still no matter that yes there is something and it was said there was a new rough price that should come not said what exactly it was not said just came there nor what it is supposed to be but probably not a play set so I assume that it might be based on the hogwarts castle maybe the winkelgasse or something that we should still be cool so im micro master as you would get this free then I would be happy that it was cool but nothing more was said that is my speculation of what I would like to see

Your translation is pretty spot on. He‘s seen the following sets:

- The Burrow with a car

- a classroom

- the advent calendar

- a new part of Hogwarts

And a new large set was talked about, but no details were revealed apart from the fact that it’s NOT a playset :classic:

Sounds great. Classroom could possibly have been a DA set mistaken as a classroom? Just a possibility, although regular classroom sets would be cool. Great to be getting the Burrow! Great figures are bound to come with that. New part of Hogwarts is obvious but great to hear anyway. I wish he mentioned which section of Hogwarts it was.

Does the Burrow appear in OotP? If not, this pretty much has to be a remake of the 2010 version :sweet: I wonder why “a car” is included though, the set with the Ford Anglia is still available and I can’t remember the Weasleys having another one.

The classroom could be the room of requirements, fingers crossed :classic:

The Hogwarts expansion could be anything.

Oh, and the Diagon Alley comments in the video (“Winkelgasse”) are just speculation on his part, just to clarify

This is exciting news. I didn't expect the classroom and another Hogwarts part. It could maybe be the same set? I was hoping for the Burrow as I wasn't too interested in a deathly hallows version later since the tent and decorations would have taken up a lot of the piece count. Although another car sounds weird. I rather expected the first set with another car to show up to be privet drive (Vernon's Car). And I wonder what the large set will be.

As we can see there was a decent level of consistency within the previous waves of Wizarding World because by collecting all of them we are able to make one big Hogwarts display so there is no point in releasing the same Weasley's car again and creating a classroom set which cannot be connected to the other parts of Hogwarts.

Nope, he talked about them separately

I also wonder what the large set (which definitely sounds like a D2C) could be... It could theoretically be an expansion of the D2C Hogwarts, but it wouldn‘t make that much sense since this couldn‘t stand on its own (at least far less so than the first set).

We don't know yet if it can connect or not. I assume it will be able to. The car is indeed a little bit weird, but some remakes over time are inevitable.

I've watched the video and noticed he did indeed talk about a classroom and a hogwarts expension separately. However, and correct me if I'm wrong (my German isn't all that great), but when he wanted to go into detail about the expansion he quickly said something that sounded like "Oh that's true, that was that one." As in did he stop himself because he already talked about the expansion (in form of the classroom) or did he stop himself because he mixed the two sets up by accident (as in if he was almost going to say there was a classroom inside the expansion)? He didn't make himself very clear if I heard it correctly. Or maybe the display at the toy fair had separated the one set?

Btw, I don't know if we already heard about it, but he said that the special cmf series (I assume WW) will be released in September (assuming the normal one is in May)

Welcome to Eurobricks and that is a great find!
I knew there was a secret room with more sets there

I do not speak German, but can understand a word here and there..
Is it possible that the single clasrom is a green house ?

So most likely a D2C is coming as well :excited:

He mentions the Burrow, then stops to think what the others were, and then simply lists the classroom, the advent calendar and the Hogwarts expansion one after the other (plus the secret large set). To me, there‘s thus no reason to assume that the classroom and Hogwarts sets are one snd the same :classic:

You are right (I'm German). He obviously does not remember that particular set very well, so he asks someone off-screen who tells him it was a classroom. The he goes on about the advent calendar and after that he says that there will be a playset that connects to the other parts of Hogwarts - however, then he interrupts himself and talks to the other person again, saying, "Oh, I think that was that, it was the classroom - doesn't matter. There will be something there anyway". I wouldn't put too much weight on that part, but at least he seemed to be confident about the Burrow and another D2C ("something big, no playset") :)

Edit: Maybe the car in the Burrow is not a remake of the Ford Anglia at all but a ministry car. One of those appears in book six to transport Harry to and from the Burrow, not sure if it was in the movies, though.

Remember in the books and in the LEGO videogames they have a car next to the house that is not the Ford Anglia, so it could be that.

I'm quite a bit disappointed to get the Burrow now, I wish they had saved it for DH1, so we could get Bill, a new Fleur and Elphias Doge and Aunt Muriel, maybe they make a tent in the next wave that is able to connect with the Burrow.

So which price points do you think each set is for.

People are saying the d2c isn't a playset so I feel it could be a vehicle or something like the d2c batmobile. Maybe the Ford Anglia or Hogwarts Express. Or a giant niffler like the Lego Yoda. (124)

Classroom could be like the whomping willow set only smaller. Attaching to the overall Hogwarts with something like the potions classroom, (although maybe it's the herbology greenhouse finally giving us sprout). (32.81)

The Hogwarts expansion (probably astronomy tower with room of requirement) would then have 83.84 which wouldnt be too different from the clocktower price but unlike the clocktower it wouldnt come out to the side for Dumbledores office and the dancefloor, it will just keep going upwards to be the tallest set.

The burrow will then be the €50 one and maybe the car is some broken down car in arthurs tool shed. In line with other sets of the same pricing we have 6-7 minifigures

We've no clue what the 21.72 set is though. Also this market is for retailers not customers. The final prices for these may be higher as retailers will need to make a profit off of each set

I hope so, a Ford Anglia would be weird for what we think is a set based on either OotP or HBP :classic: Such anachronisms were common in the 2010/2011 sets (e.g. CoS Harry and Ron in the same set as OotP Luna), but the new iteration is very screen-accurate, for the most part (looking at you, „Basilisk“).
