So according to Stonewars the CMF will release on September 1st and Diagon Alley should be released alongside it (or the other way around, whatever you prefer saying)

Didn’t we know that already? There never was any other date than Sept 1st for the D2C since we first heard about it

...which means the reveal will be in roughly two weeks. Drat. ...someone leak it please

Unfortunately I won't be getting the Diagon Alley this year since the PS5 takes priority for me :cry_sad:

Ooh, the CMF looks amazing, as expected!

I am a little miffed about the lack of Lockhart, Skeeter and Pomfrey. But I suppose that just increases the chances of a series 3, eh?

Witch one do you guys think we're getting 5 of in this cmf? If it's going to be like cmf 20.

My guess is Luna, Sprout and Kingsley.. I hope it's going to be Dumbledore (because of Fawk), Neville (because of Monster book) and Griphook (because I need loads of them for Gringotts).

Is it likely that there will be another Harry Potter Bricktober pack this year? Because that could contain certain minifigures like Mrs Pomfrey that aren't in this CMF but are unlikely to appear elsewhere

No, we already get a student pack. If we're getting Pomfrey it would be in a castle section next year is my guess.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god! *oh2*:moar:

My first thought is that there are a lot of civilian minifigures in this series. Eight (nine if you include Luna) are just in normal Muggle clothing which is a bit of a shame. I love the Fred and George minifigures, their winter hats are very distinctive, but I can easily do without the rest.

Also I cannot believe Griphook comes with a properly accurate Sword of Gryffindor! It's amazing how we have specialised pieces now for the Sorting Hat, Fawkes, the Sword and the Pensieve - Dumbledore's Office is going to be well-filled. The only downside I can see of this is that a goblin figure is probably going to be the most sought-after of all the figures and I want to get multiples of him!

I really hope we get a clear idea of distribution early on for an idea of which figures are going to be the hardest to find - I feel like there's definitely going to be only 3 each of Fred and George.

Also thank god we got the student pack this year or I'd be really moaning about the lack of Hogwarts Students in this CMF! The first one was so amazing for Hogwarts-themed figures that this one definitely seems like a step down - though I guess that means it'll be attractive for City collectors which can only help sales.

I want a PS5 as well but as much as I want to play it Spider-Man: Miles Morales isn't enough for me to buy it at launch. I'll make sure to get it before Horizon: Forbidden West releases though, which leaves me more than enough time to buy DA and save up for that Playstation

A better look at the instructions has been posted and the twins’ suitcase has a little betting table printed in the inside of the lid and comes with two printed 1x1 tiles in different colors. They really went all out on the details.

Edit: it also clearly shows James with dual molded and printed legs. So that’s another plus.

Fantastic to see the finale CMF leaked after waiting so long!!! But like others have said the I think the best figures were on the packet front. It’s amazing that Lego has decided to give us so many variants of existing/past student characters instead of adults we have never had before. The only revealed figures I think anyone anticipated were Lilly and James and they are both great and meet all expectations ?

I love how many more great accessories we are getting on top of what we saw from the first leak: Baby Harry, New sward with red stones, undamaged Diary, new Beer glasses (how does the no alcohol rule work now?) and a very useful closed map!

The strangest inclusion for me is Ginny, I would have expected her Party outfit version was AC material, did she really need the expense of a new hairpiece? They should have made her pet Pygmy Puff an accessory instead in my opinion, that would have justified it.

Looking at all the new moulds and the figure choices as a whole I guess LEGO is planning for next year a large Hogsmeade village set (winter hats and Beer glass) and either a Chamber of Secrets or DH Gringots Breakout set (goblin ears and sward) :)

That new Ron face is perfect. Think I like the Hermione one though I'm hoping the alternate expression is something more neutral (but looks more like Emma Watson than the PotC Carina one they've been using). Seeing as the majority seem to have double sided faces we can hope for a good angry Bellatrix alternate face.

I've seen the Bellatrix fig fresh out of bag; she has a more stern face AND printed arms!!

I don't suppose that picture is on Instagram yet, is it?

Also if the designers of the CMF and sets were collaberating like they were in 2018 is there a possibility that pieces introduced in here could also feature in Diagon Alley? Because the leaked Harry minifigure also references Chamber of Secrets I think the book shop with Lockhart could be quite likely, in which case the new Monster Book of Monsters piece would really fit in.

At least its another way to get those printed robes, the figures with those robe prints have been some of my favourite figures of the revival! I much prefer another Hogwarts minifigure to those with civilian clothes but each to their own :shrug_oh_well:

I can see why these figures weren't on the bag, they're very boring.

James and Lilly are a fun novelty but I doubt most casual HP fans care about them very much. Ginny is a dull inclusion. I think they should've included Ginny in the AT without the new hair and faceprint and instead made Lavendar CMF figure instead. If they really were desperate to make Ginny though they should've given her a pigmy puff instead of a new glass. Fred and George are fine. I doubt anyone wanted them in these costumes though. Ron and Hermionie are figures that exist. I'm less disappointed in them because I had low expectations for them and knew they would be included.

I wonder how well this series will sell when compared to the last one. I'm guessing it will sell considerably worse considering the figures are more expensive and less interesting. Plus fewer people will want to feel bags for them.

Glad to see Myrtle has Medium legs also, nice and consistent, Neville too ?

Bit annoyed Luna has full legs and no extra Hair piece to wear :/

I'm glad that I bought four of the student pack, probably buying 1-2 more! I agree it's to many in muggler clothes in the cmf..

I hope it would be at least 4 of Griphook... But probably it only will be 3 of him because lego now that people will buy more when they want loads of some figure.

I would be okey with only 3 of the twins, I don't need loads of them anyway, haha.

So for some reason James doesn't appear to have glasses *huh*

EDIT: I think I may have spotted it but that would really be the slightest representation of glasses on a LEGO figure ever

I gush over the smallest things: TLG using a slant piece to give the Monster Book of Monsters a tilt gives it THAT much more character!

Are the glasses a light gray and doesn’t appear cause the scans are a bit low quality?

Well this series is going to be very useful for me! I already planned on getting a full set for my HP collection, but all the normal clothes, new hair molds, and exciting accessories are really going to be great for my city :excited:

If you zoom in really closely, you can see the frames. You also see two lighter circles around his eyes. It’s hard to tell because the actual eyeglasses part were just glass.

It’s not appealing to me at first sight, but you got a good point. In the end it’s a movie surrounding a school :P I admit though, we’ve gotten more suits/gowns/casual clothes than uniforms.

Who are you all most disappointed that we missed out on from our predictions? I’m definitely disappointed about not getting Professor Lockhart because I figured this was our best shot at getting a Cornish Pixie mold. I imagine we will probably get him in the Diagon Alley set but without  any of those little blue buggers
