What's your favorite Lego piece

Always loved this piece as a kid.  Brick 1 x 2 with Lego Logo Closed O Style White with Black Outline Pattern.   Always thought this piece to be super rare.  Had it in the 80's.    Certainly not the most valued pieced, but still treasure it today.

The 1x1 trans-lucent plate - in trans-red and trans-green "beloved" parts of my classic space sets.

For me its the 1 by 4 hinge plate.  Allowed my classic space sets to have the back of my vehicle open.  Still brings a smile to my face when I find them on sets today.

IMO, while I tended to overlook it a lot at the time, that really was my favorite Castle-themed headware, and I wish it would come back in some more modern silvered colors. It's not that I dislike the newer gear, but it was cool that that particular helmet offered both protection, realistic looks, AND allowed your to display the character's face. There was something almost kingly about it, too - very reminiscent of the armored crowns that so many monarchs wore into battle."
