Classic RC receiver + Technic motor

Hello there! 

I'm looking for the information is there a way to easy connect and control the standard Lego Technic motor e.g. 8883 M-Motor:

with a classic RC receiver e.g. this 35mhz Groupner:

I understand that between these two parts should be some kind of esc/controller? 

Could you give some tips how to find the right component?

PS: and of course there should be a power supply connected to the esc/controller.

In short, you need:

1. RC transceiver and receiver, $15

2. Arduino board, e.g. Digispark, $2

3. Infrared Transceiver, $3

4. battery box(4AA or 4AAA), and some wires.

Hello. I also worked on a solution to this problem. If all will well, a small numbers of production models will go on sale in November. The project is called Wixy. You can see the ugly prototype here :)

Thanks, I tried to do well :)
The maximum voltage is 17 volts.
The maximum continuous current is 5A.
The maximum pulsed current is 15A.
One module withstands 2 buggy motors. We tried 4 buggy motors - it also works, but scary :)
There is also an engine brake mode (the engine goes into generator mode)
But a lot of time was spent on development :( Lego has released a new standard.

@Gelay RC buggy motors are not sold for more than 10 years and we still use them so I'm sure Power Functions motors will be around for a loong time :) There's still room for such cool projects, please let us know when you are ready with the product, I'm very interested :)

When you use a rc receiver you always need a esc to control your motors. This because you have 3 pins/wires (- + signal) and the motors consume more voltage the receiver can handle (it is possible without, but only for small applications like lights and servo's)

In my loader i use a mix of Lego motors and rc ones, together with lights sound, etc. The options are endless what you connect to it

Hello. I'm glad to announce that Wixy is completely ready :)

Slightly changed characteristics:

maximum current is 3A (package limited)

maximum voltage is 17V

If anyone is interested - I will describe in more detail and answer questions.

Looks good. how about make new topic insted use old topic? and where can I buy this? if I want control 2 motor than I need 2 of this?(like driving and steering in car)

@GelayI'd also suggest to start a new topic for Wixy, and I'd love to know all the possible technical details. What additional hardware is needed for the RC control, can you control a Servo, how many channels can you use etc?

Hello. In short, for the moment I stopped a production of Wixy. But I will do Wixy 2 maybe.
More details below:
I started selling Wixy only in national market, to test the product, to see how it performs in operation.
The results are as follows: electronics works well, but Wixy turned out to be quite complicated for users, it takes a long time to explain how to design their models with it and how calculate load. Wixy is also expensive to manufacture, so it practically does not pay off.
This is all I want to fix in a second version. But I don't know if I will have enough strength, patience and money that to make Wixy 2.
