It's worth mentioning here again that such a thing could never happen to Series 20 of all Series, as it falls upon the tenth anniversary of the theme after all.

Hmm maybe just the box. But it could be just a placeholder

Series 17 was revealed at NY TF so I'd expect the same for this one.

Any chance we get a peek at color packaging for these tomorrow in Nuremberg?

At least @Zusammengebaut is reporting that both May's and September's CMS are present at the Toy Fair, though no pictures are allowed...

The Whole series or just the place holders?

Presumably just placeholders, as they didn't even suggest that there were details on the Series that they couldn't share.

Sadly I do not know a lot about it. I only know this:

-It will celebrate 10 years of CMF

-There will be a new Mr. Gold like minifigure. Made of a new material, no idea which and it might become the most expensive minifig ever(maybe too much exaggerating)

-Expect some remakes of old minifigs and brand new ones

Oh boy.... another Mr Gold?? And made with a brand new material? A 100% transparent figure? CMF Series 20 sounds like the perfect place to introduce the long awaited transparent minfigure

Thanks

I'd be up for a Mr. Fools Gold, made from Pyrite.

This can turn out very bad or very good
I am fine with a Mr gold like fig if the rest of the series is good, but the more special they make the series the higher the chance it is for me to find it lacking compared to a normal series like 19 :sceptic:

By "old minifigs" are you talking about remakes of CMF archetypes from previous Series? :oh:

Yeah, something along those lines. More onto series 1.

Ah, as I suspected... :smug: ...tell me, have you seen any of the individual CMF? Are the remakes redesigned in any way or are they just verbatim remakes? :shrug_confused:

Aww not sure if I like the idea of remakes....

Those should be done as promotional figures, book characters or polybags....

At this point we are only getting 1 regular series per year, remaking figures sound like wasting those spots

Gimme any recolor of the original Spaceman CMF from that Series, as long as it isn't White again. That's the thing, I'd only be excited for remakes if they redesign or tweak them to a degree.

Yes, quite true... :sceptic:

I’m 100 % with you - just looking at all your ideas for CMF, I can’t believe that the Lego designers are lacking inspiration for new themes ...

When you say Mr. Gold like, do you mean equal in rarity, or more like the policeman? I sure hope Lego doesn't pull that "only 5K minifigures released" crap again. At least one per box should be the minimum.
