Something is blocking your steering rack from moving all the way. Check what the hubs are bumping into.

Wait. You are using 3L axles with studs to hold the steering arms? They are blocking the travel, because they are going through the rack and bumping the triangle brick behind it. Pull the axles holding the steering arms out by half a stud.

I've jumped on this bandwagon too, but don't have the budget for the buggy motors so a different system will be going in, along with a colour change.

First mock-up done, only has the 2 speed gearbox and 2x L motors at the moment.
Embarrassingly, I didn't realise till most of the body was done that it was the same colour scheme as the 42070 6x6 tow truck.
Have also built it as a quick remove body for now, may not be feasible longer term.

I'd like first, to thank you for this post and sharing the instructions. The Tiger is my favourite out of all my toys. ❤

I'm also here to share my very simple modification to change the rear universal joints to the new, much stronger ones.

That'll work! However, while those joints won't snap, they do wear out after a while.

Metal joints would work better.

Hey, I built this monster about six months ago. From the beginning, I had a problem with shifting gears. Until now it has operated in ldcr mode, now it does not change at all. I thought the problem was the M motor but changed to a new one out of the box and it's the same. Anyone have an idea where the bug might be? I checked all the gears during the engine swap and they seem to run smoothly ...

Hmm, interesting. Make sure both geraboxes are properly synchronized.

I'm trying to build my own version of this but can't for the life of me figure out how to get the shock absorber in to the build, have someone tips for me?

Here is my version so far in to the build

Which shock absorbers are you referring to? Also, you posted a private Google Drive link.
