Secret Letter to the Admirality

Recommended Posts

As Lt. Carling captured two rebels from "the Society of Heracles... He couldn't sleep at night and wrote a letter to the Admirality...

"Dear Sir Admiral Woodbrouse, Sir Admiral Fletcher. The whole city of Jameston is taking about it, and you already have my report and the one of the Admiral that took the prisoners with him... I am very concerned what we do with them rebels.

20190824-121955.jpg

When we support them to cause a revolution in Oleon to weaken our enemy that will come back to us twice as hard. They will start supporting our Separatists as well as our People will receive the wrong signal. Fighting against the government shall never be supported in our very own interests. For the best of our country and our Empire. If you want me to do this mission to deliver the prisoners to Orleon Authority, it did be an honor  to do so. I am open for every order and any mission for the Empire and for our beloved Queen Annetta. God save the Queen.

SIncerely yours

Lieutenant Clay Carling"

The letter was sent directly to both Admirals offices, top secret just to be opened by themselves...

To Lieutenant Clay Carling, HMS Annettania

Your report is most concerning, as currently, Corrington has no admirals, nor fleets of any size, operating in your waters. As a matter of fact, I am myself the only active admiral in Terra Nova. It is my considered opinion that you have found yourself duped by an imposter, either a national fleet with an interest in these individuals, or a pirate squadron.

I can only advice that you attend to your private signals and keep your vessel in safe distance from any unidentified forces of superior force unable to answer them to satisfaction. However, your mishap has at least ridden us of the potentially troublesome diplomatic issue of how to handle these foreign individuals.

For the now, you are hereby required to proceed to Mesabi Landing, there to compile a report on the status of the settlement, which was hit by a natural disaster earlier this year. This report is to be handed in at the office of the colonial governor of the Paradise Isles in Jameston.

Rear-admiral Fletcher

Commander-in-Chief, Terra Novan Fleet

______________

OOC: Nice build and story, but it is really so that we have no other admirals, nor no significant fleets prying these waters. :pir-wink:

An important tip for RP'ing is that you can only affect the world with your own characters, so playing in important events (such as the appearance of a fleet) is something that one should leave to game-masters. Otherwise, you end up forcing your stories on others. That being said, you have basically complete freedom as to what you want your own character to do, and that may affect the world around you. (And may have consequences, negative or positive :pir-grin: ) I know in the beginning this can be hard to navigate, but you will quickly pick it up. Interaction is key! :pir-classic:

The trip to Mesabi Landing and reading up on recent events there is probably a good place to start - you may also coordinate some activity with @Darnok , who plays Mordo, the current mayor of the settlement.

Cheers!

"Sir Admiral Fletcher.

Thank you for the quick response. I will promise to stay away of big fleets, I will concentrate on my report and on my duties at Jameston now.

Long live the Queen

Sincerely Yours

Lieutenant Clay Carling"

Sorry for the mistake. I do find something to make the story going on this way, my Character was fooled by Outlaws, maybe from the rebels from Oleon. Doesn't matter I will make something out of it, not using official forces anymore.

I takes a bit to understand how this all works ;-)

No worries - it IS a lot to take in :D

And remember, you can always ask advice, either from Darnok, me, or in the general Corrington thread. :)

Yeah I will make something out of it. But have to wait a bit until I get my hand on some new parts. My old lego just look odd with strictly grey, white and black pieces from castle. But have some Ideas. Updated the Office of Lt. Carling already a little bit, and hat even ate up all my son's new bricks that I am allowed to use.

Just wanna make it more 2019 than 1989... ;@)
