wagonracr Posted July 24, 2019 Has anybody hacked a Lego Powered Up Color & Distance Sensor and used it with an Arduino? I have a few of them I would like to use on a Lego Automation for distance and later I would like to use the color function.
Duq Posted July 24, 2019 I've seen PU used to control a train; color sensor in the train reading coloured tiles between the rails for commands like half speed, stop, reverse. Don't think there was any Arduino involved though.
Toastie Posted July 24, 2019 Yeah, as it works with native LEGO BLE software. Best, Thorsten
dr_spock Posted July 24, 2019 I haven't seen the pinouts for the color sensor published anywhere. I made a LEGO BOOST train engine using the color sensor. It wasn't all that accurate at an event, although, it worked perfectly in my basement. It might be easier to use a color sensor that already works with the Arduino.
