and not when they actually revealed the set, really strange decision

Agreed. The lack of other photos was making me begin to half expect something or other would be changed before the release, but I guess there's no apparent reason for it.

Forgot about that one, that could also make a good set. And again, they made prototypes of at least the reek and ackley, so like with yavin it got close.

Someone on eurobricks wanting a sequel set? Impossible!  I intensely hate canto bight and might be biased, but I think it would only work as a police speeder with fathiers, not the casino. We did get a bit of pasaana market, but the set would literally just be that x100, there's no actual buildings. With solo, The only interesting stuff on corellia was the vehicle action, and we've already had all 3 speeders in that scene. Kessel doesn't really work as a playset, no play feautres, same with savareen. First light IS a vehicle, so the only one that would really work is mimban, and then again it would just be a trench, probably with an AT-DT. There's a reason we don't get too many location sets. Also: Corsucant opera? As a lego set? Really?

Hehe, no Im not really a fan of the ST, so you can exhale! But a cool sw set is a cool sw set and I still like a lot of the characters and surroundings

Well, as long as their are buildings and creatures are fighting, there can be a playset, so I don't see why Kessel and Savareen wouldnt work (in First light I actually thought of making Dryden Vos chamber (could be a pretty awesome build with a artifacts) On Correlia I thought of the White Worms den.

lol, im not saying that my hopes and wishes are realistically at any point, although me personally would have loved a Coruscant Opera set!

Opera could be a $500 MBS set with 5,000 empty chairs 2 with Anakin and Palps..... I would buy for the memes

I really don't think Kessel, Savereen, or white worms den would make good playsets, just on account of them not really having memeroable bits of arcitecture. Kessel's really just tunnels, which would be difficult to make a playset, savereen is just terrain, and the white worms den is just a pond and more tunnels. A duel type dryden vos set would work.

oh, and i only hate TLJ, I was just poking fun that a fair amount of people here hate anything disney produces except rogue one.

But I'm assuming for duels, we'll continue to get our one duel per year. Luke vs vader, yoda vs dooku, the 7 million rey/kylo duels in TROS, we would unfortunately probably see alot of lightsaber duels before a solo one.

You'd think they'd do projection Luke Vs Kylo at some point, Crait is a beautiful and striking planet and a little build similar to the duel on Starkiller set representing it would look nice. Maybe have a hidden away mechanism to launch some red studs in the air to recreate the result of the artillery fire shot at Luke.

I just hope they also make duel sets for the tv shows. The movie fights are awesome but a lot of them have the same combatants (sequel trilogy is literally Ben vs Rey every single time, except Luke on Crait). With Clone Wars, Rebels and possibly Fallen Order they could give us tons of characters they've either not done before or did a long time ago. Just to give a few examples of duels I'd very much like to see:

Rebels: Ahsoka vs Vader, Ben vs Maul, Sabine vs Gar Saxon, Kanan vs Grand Inquisitor

Clone Wars: Obi-Wan vs Ventress, Maul vs Sidious, Ahsoka vs Maul

Fallen Order: Cal vs Second Sister, Cal vs Ninth Sister (if possible due to her size)

According to brickfanatics, the Star Wars mosaic is Darth Maul :sweet: Good choice!

Thats dope for a mosaic, im kinda imagining it would look like a 2d version of the Maul bust from 2001 though.

I hope with the rumors of a Rebels sequel series, we get a new Ghost set in 2021. The Bricklink prices on that thing are absurd.

As sets based on the animated series apparantly don't sell well I don't think we'll get many sets based off the Rebels sequel, but if we do get at least one set it'll definetely be the Ghost. They missed out on a lot of sales by retiring the Ghost before it became very popular (they couldn't have anticipated that ofcourse) so bringing it back would make sense.

Not to minimod or anything, but it seems like there's been a lot of pure speculation and/or wishlisting lately, might want to dial it back a bit...

I'm pleasantly surprised that the first mosaic ended up being PT related, I would've expected Lego to lead with OT like the helmets. Bring on the prequel love!

I actually think @MandRproductions501st rumor may be true...everyone thought he was wrong about Vaders Castle, but that's a set now. Plus, Landino said there would be 4 unknown clones after MandR said it would be 4 501sts...hope that isn't too much speculating:yoda:

You're right, sorry:laugh: i hope the mosaics are really big considering there won't be any large pieces except for maybe a baseplate

Agreed, sounds like wish listing to me.  There was not even cryptic, unconfirmed confirmation.  It was just click bait.

Why does everyone think just because MandR said it its clickbait? He was right about Vaders castle.

Sorry I mentioned it, we're getting too off topic and its my fault:facepalm:

I know we're speculating too much, but I just wanted to say I would buy almost all of these in a heartbeat.

I had said before I didn't want it to be a character, but if the maul mosaic is that iconic image of his head from TPM like all the posts are using, then my mind will have been changed!

Exactly. Telling people what they want to hear is half of the strategy for clickbait, the other one being telling people the worst-case scenario.

Because (as far as I know) Darth Vader's Castle is just one time he got something right while everything else he ''exclusively reported'' was clickbait garbage

The people-who-make-sure-we're-informed-about-the-droid-attack-on-the-wookies pack!

Jokes aside, we know it'll be 4 clones and 2 droids, we just don't know which clones or droids.

Exaaaaactly. Even a broken clock's right twice. (I'm not saying that the set will have 4 501st troopers)

I honestly like the escape pod on the Razor Crest. Mainly because of how stupid and weird it is. Its just a rectangle with a hole in it.

I'm also fine with the carbonite being stickers. Everyone always acts so mad when a set has basically any stickers. I know they're annoying, but they will always be there. Printed pieces will probably never replace them

The Falcon's escape pods are the exact same, just a rectangle with a hole in it

I was about to say the same thing. this isn't entirely some random garbage, it actually looks a fair amount like what we see on the falcon in TLJ.

Looking at the Razor Crest photos, I do like how they appear to have hidden the sleeping quarters away under the cockpit, but I now have further questions about the rear cargo space.  I had assumed that the side opposite the carbonite pieces would be where the sleeping quarters would be, so I guess that's just empty space.  Is it really that empty, outside of the two carbonite bricks?  I'd also like to see a better picture of the back half of the cockpit, I'm curious if there's space to put The Child or perhaps a second figure to sit, since on the show it looks like it could easily sit 2-3 people.

The sleeping quarters is indeed placed underneath the cockpit, the cargo area is entirely empty except for the 2 people frozen in carbonite and the cockpit has 2 seats. I guess you haven't watched any of the TF video's showing off the set?

Partly why I like it so much. It also remind me of the one in the legacy collection millennium falcon (from before an escape pod made it's on screen debute). It's a fresh new build, finally something different than the same old shapes we've been getting for years.

I also really like the bedroom, it looks so cosy. Overall they really made some good use of the interior space, by far one of the better interiors we've seen in years.

Mosaic maul sounds pretty cool, didn't even know star wars was part of the zebra line.
