I can see a spare tire on the rear if you look closely!

I know that there's a spare tire but I don't think it will serve as a knob, because the rear door seems to be openable.

The difference between a luggage box and a coffin is what you put inside it.

Hi guys, since the official pictures of a Liebherr have been released, is there any info about the Landrover? They supposed to come out the same month.

Land Rover is continuation of "Mack" series. Chiron will most likely be suceeded by Maclaren (Senna?). Difference in size, packaging, special instructions etc...

I would consider the Mack and Car Transporter to be the same series since the engines are similar as well as the scale. The Land Rover looks to be in it's whole new zone. I would expect a pickup truck next but who knows.

Could the orange thingies on the roof be used for changing the transmission?

The colour reminds me of a piss-poor broccoli soup from Kitchen Nightmares.

Well I looks like color of 4th horseman of apocalypse...

Hope it looks better in real life, otherwise set looks interesting.

Nice looking freelander (that's a dig at JLR, not Lego). It looks as though the steering wheel is tilted up a little, which is good. Could this be the first car model with an actual gear stick since 8466? I hope so.

Looks like its steered from the knob on the roof and the steering wheel is functional. Already beats out the 42056 and 42083 for me... Also a winch and those heavenly seats!!

Given gearing seems to be done inside, it could be the steering is inside only too, and the winch is the HOG on top? Still, seems a HOG could probably be added pretty easily. Am looking forward to this one!

The rear gate looks like may swing open.  Need more close up and detailed shots.  :classic:

I think it looks great. The colour is a classic Landy colour and I know it’s annoying that it’s yet another colour but I don’t know what existing colours would be very “Defender”.

interested to see how it functions. Also the wheels look good and think would work on cars too

I saw the model yesterday, and since it was in a public event, I think I can tell what I saw:

  • mini fake engine (forgot to count cylinders)
  • hi-lo selector
  • D N R selector
  • 4-speed sequential transmission
  • winch, operable from the engine bay
  • HOG steering with working steering wheel
  • standard double wishbone suspension (very soft)
  • a horribly overcomplicated lock of the back door operable with the spare wheel.

So basically a car with a very simplistic winch mechanism and a very very slowly rotating mini fake engine.
