The sign-up deadline for the next Trade MRCA is June 17, midnight, anywhere in the world.

Note that this is only the Trade MRCA, not the Adventure MRCA. We decided we could not wait any longer for the A-MRCA results, as it has been too long since the last T-MRCA. Going forward, we hope to keep the Trade MRCA on a more frequent schedule and are looking at new ways to keep the Adventure MRCAs moving without delaying the Trade MRCAs.

If you have a ship currently participating in an Adventure MRCA, you can not sign it up for this Trade MRCA. Individual ships can only participate in one or the other, not both simultaneously.

To sign-up for the Trade MRCA, read the rules here and then sign-up via this form.

For a ship to take part in the MRCA, it must be licensed. You can license your ship under the new ship rules via this form. If there are any issues (typo, wrong number of points or other issues) with this process, PM @Legostone.

 

Note that the MRCA signup form still doesn’t have raids added yet, so if you’re interested in conducting a raid this turn, PM @Capt Wolf. If you’re just going to be trading, you can go ahead and fill out the forms normally.

And here are the trade values as of June 6, 619 (trade values for NPC and Old World ports are as of February 14, 619). When filling out your MRCA form, please make sure you spell the ports exactly as they appear below.

Note that Rassilon, Takashii, and Haven are no longer settlements. They can no-longer be chosen as destinations in the MRCA. Properties in Haven are now considered to be in the hinterlands of Moray’s Den. Properties in Takashii are now considered to be in the hinterlands of Bastion. I'm not sure if the trade values for Moray's Den and Bastion have been adjusted yet to reflect this.

Also, these islands can now be chosen as destinations. They have no trade value, so you won't earn any DBs sailing to them, but they're better than sinking. :wink:

If we concluded our AMCRA last turn can we sail our ships or must we wait until the official conclusions release them?

Also the Sea Rats established a settlement on isle 21 mud island (or is it not officially a location pending the previous mentioned reason?

I'd say you can go ahead and sail them in the trade MRCA this turn.

Perhaps not official for another reason. It doesn't show up in the spreadsheet. @Phred needs to add it there. And does it have a settlement thread? If you can get these things taken care of, we could get it added to the location list for the MRCA.

Cool. And it's in zone 35. We just need to get @Phred to add New Nassau to the spreadsheet. (Until then it won't have a trade value when we run the MRCA program.) Send him a PM about it.

I am trying to get heads or tails on the amrcas these days - can you remind me which one you are referring to specifically here? :)

The sea rats amcra ... One half had the search for the lost city the other set up a fort for a settlement on isle 21

Digging up the position of ships can get annoying, especially if they have not been used for some turns. I hope some "ship locations listing" (same for armies) is in the works. :thumbup:

Welcome back!

And you've got through Monday night to get a form submitted. If you have trouble figuring out where your ship is, PM the ship name(s) to me, and the last time you think it/they sailed, and I'll see if i can help find it/them.

Oh, that would be wonderful! Unfortunately, no such listing is in the works. We're having enough trouble just finding help to run the MRCAs and dole out awards for contests. :sad:

Good point - as Capt Wolf says, we are (all...) a bit pressed for time, but this would be a good help. Not super easy to do I fear, but a good idea that we should consider!

I save the ships and route in a file before submitting forms ... This way I can know where my ships are if I dont sail them for a bit ... Plus it lets me plan out all 4 fleets and simply copy and paste into the form lol
