charlesp1138 Posted May 19, 2019 Working on my EMD FL9 Locomotive. I'll put up instructions for sale if people are interested enough to make it worthwhile. Thoughts? I'll change the front window a little in the end version.
XG BC Posted May 19, 2019 (edited) nice model! the only thing i would change are the boogies. you have to somehow cover the wheels. XG BC Edited May 19, 2019 by XG BC
CSW652 Posted May 19, 2019 (edited) The nose looks a little bit long to me, but otherwise really nice. Edited May 19, 2019 by CSW652
Man with a hat Posted May 20, 2019 That's looking nice. I am not familiar with the prototype so I cannot say a lot about correct details and proportions, however the details are really nice, the roof section e.g. I like.
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted May 20, 2019 Nice locomotive, but I agree with @XG BC the wheels looks naked and you should cover them
charlesp1138 Posted May 20, 2019 Yeah, someone on Facebook also mentioned that the front truck was all squashed up under the nose. I'm making some changes to it before I finalize it. I appreciate the comments!
charlesp1138 Posted May 21, 2019 Made some changes! Fixed the front trucks being too short. Added an angle to the front and shortened the nose.

raised Posted May 21, 2019 Can't agree more with XGBC, this is a huge improvement over the first version. I really like the ammount of detail you have been able to cram into your model, definately because the model is 6 studs wide. What strikes me most is all the differences with the 10020 Santa Fe, which was released over 15 years ago, even though both prototypes have the same shape, you have managed to come up with a totally different build. Impressive!
legoman666 Posted May 21, 2019 I've made decals for someone who was building one of those. He hasn't publicly posted it though, so I don't think I can share what he's sent me.

Paperinik77pk Posted June 4, 2019 This new version is alot better!!! The managing of the different colors, and use of curved bricks and tiles makes it very shiny and well refined!!! Thumbs up!
