Kai NRG Posted May 11, 2019 (edited) Something strange is going on... So far: Explosion on Gunpowder IslandA Message Is SentA Message Is RecievedAt The HeadquartersEncounter in the Jungle Patrolling the jungle is an important part of every soldier's duty. Dick and Harry are soldiers who always do their duty. They were patrolling the jungle a few days ago, which was not as easy as it sounds because the flowers were very pretty and distracted Dick and the spider webs were very clingy and distracted Harry. Oh, and a volcano had erupted a few days ago and there had been strange rumors of banana monsters eating Corrington patrols. Probably a rumor set afoot by Queen Annetta, who was known to be passionately attached to bananas and naturally wanted to keep Oleon away from this newly discovered island. Or not. Taken by surprise, Dick did an about face and stomped through the underbrush while Harry dove behind the nearest palm tree and sighted the monsters. "Kablam!" Dick was known for his true aim and sure enough, there was a hole right through the smallest banana's middle... for a minute... until the peel grew back. Then Dick and Harry started to run... Here's the vig without the banana monsters! Enjoyed putting some of the newer plant pieces to use here. Also was finally able to make a decently sized palm tree with that technique, I've been cheese slope poor for a long time. And the largest banana monster. Lots of fun to make this little guy! Hope you enjoyed this taste of the doom that's stalking into BoBS! Your patrols had better start getting scared! Edited May 11, 2019 by Kai NRG
blackdeathgr Posted May 11, 2019 Nice vignette and really cute and cleverly built banana-monster If our two compatriots come alive out of all these stuff, it is sure that they are going to spread some serious stories about those "bananombies" (tm) that hunted them! Roadmonkeytj Posted May 12, 2019 I really like the palm tree! Are those brickarms guns?
Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 12, 2019 A fie composition, nicely contrasting the horror of the scene. Palm tree and banana mutants are excellent - and I also noticed that your soldiers have got a weapon upgrade
