Meanwhile on Gunpowder Island:

After the vulcanic events, a small patrol on patrol duty is patrolling the jungle...  not knowing what lies ahead of them.

800x520.jpg

Hey, Sarge, look there!

     What, Private?

There was something in the bushes. Something yellow, it moved, Sir!

800x600.jpg

And, indeed, two strange twin-like creatures emerged from the jungle and closed in on the soldiers. They looked ... strange, sort of banana-ish.

800x686.jpg

The sergeant came closer, shouting: Who, or what are you - answer me!

In a movement too quick for the eye to follow, and without a single sound, the yellowish strange creatures jumped on the sergeant and killed him!

His men fled in panic!

800x547.jpg

The yellowish creatures remained... as if nothing had happened

And with them a faint smell of bananas ...

They have.. teeth! :pir-oh:  Run!

Great bits of color in the vegetation, I don't recall ever seeing red bamboo stalks before!

And the lesson from the story, shoot first, ask later.

The banana-ish creatures look hilarious, nice build.

The horror! *oh2*

The little stream running though the scene is a nice touch. And of course a great job building the bananamen!  I'm just surprised the can run without slipping.

Thanks - and good point.  However, from the pictures it is hard to tell how those mutated bananas actually move :pir-grin:
