LDD: Unable to load file

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have a problem.

When I try to open an .lxf project on Lego Digital Designer, an error message appears:

"Unabel to load file - Parsing of the file was aborted due to an error in the file"

Could you please help me?

Thank you :)

You should use an extarnal file hosting/cloud serive. In this caso you can use a LEGO related one such as brickshelf or bricksafe, that are reliable and allow to host both images and lxf files and share that with hotlink.

Creator of Bricksafe here... I have fixed the bug you were triggering with your uploaded LXF file.

It is not a valid zip file (which was triggering the bug), other than that I can't tell you much about it.

Unfortunately the file is corrupted.

I tried a manual procedure using an hex editor and I was able to recover some data, but I don't know if the result is adequate.
Please download the file from here and check it.

Thanks for sharing.

It seems a pretty diorama, but at the moment I can't see it in LDD as I'm struggling with a new PC and I've my machines partially disassembled and with an unsettled operating system.
