General Map E2

The farming towns in the Ziggakrelp region are mainly inhabited by refugees from the original war of Priunulian independence. Those from Walara and Priunulia have until recently managed to live here together in peace. With tensions rising between the two nations and Dusk inciting acts of terror and violence, conflict has broken out in this area.

The military was called in in the hope that their presence may diffuse the situation. The 4th Volorsk amphibious division partnered with the 3rd Volorsk to provide all terrain transport in the Caiman HAAV (Heavy Amphibious Assault Vehicle) and the Bullfrog ARV (Amphibious Reconnaissance Vehicle).

Two soldiers moved inside the wreckage of the building. Water flooded the floor from a burst pipe, furniture was upturned and rubbish was scattered across the floor.

A rebel waited up above but he was surprised by the soldier who came up through the floor and was shot before he could react. The soldiers then checked the building for further insurgents but it was empty

They managed to take the other rebel alive for questioning, then headed back to their vehicles - their mission complete.

They had managed to save the old mans life, but he had lost so much a hand, a home, a wife ...

and a son.

Notes:

-The main focus of this build was the wrecked building, inspiration came from Andreas and his brilliant scenes- Raid, Barren Main and Impact.

- I tried to make the scene seem authentic to the setting: crops in fields, a rough stone road.

The Bullfrog, with two opening doors and space for two minifigures or one minifigure and a mortar attachment as show in the main story. Inspiration came from Pixel Fox's brilliant rendition of the VW Type 166 Schwimmwagen on Flickr. I used the first four studs of this design then designed the rest myself. Credit where credit is due.

You’ve been awarded (  2 ) points.

Judges’ comments…

Pictures are a little better for this one but still need some help. You might benefit from taking pictures out side or in a better lit room. As far as the build goes, there is a decent amount of detail here but it looks a little rushed. Slow down on the number of builds and go for quality.

Again, there is more building effort going on, but I see many of the same issues from your previous builds.  If only there was an overview shot of the entire build?  Please, take the notes we give you into account. Work on the lighting.  The wonderful thing about digital cameras is you can take many pictures of the same thing from slightly different angles and then choose which is the best shot to include.  Too many pictures and your audience may get bored.  Please apply these points to your future builds and your scores will increase, I guarantee it!

Be Sure to Update Your AARs.

Thanks for playing!
