[MOC] Railroad Speeder

Recommended Posts

Went to a train museum recently and saw one of the funniest looking vehicles ever. The museum featured mostly old steam locomotives and rail cars but off to the side was a curious and hilariously tiny little box of a rail vehicle. Didn't know anything about them until searching and decided to make a build inspired by these little old maintenance vehicles. Very loosely based off the one seen which was a tan and rusty Fairmont A4E.

Railroad Speeder!

They do look pretty amusing to operate

Very cool!! I'm actually working on something similar - a World War 1 era speeder for my trench railway (it looks like a motorised picnic table!!)

Loving your build though - great scenery too!!

Well done. Trying to fit a motor in there would be quite the challenge.

The motor is easy the battery is the challenge.

@koalayummies

This is a well designed little speeder and the track is marvelous
