[GBW] - Patrol - Alsarh - Hill Camp Attack

Recommended Posts

General Map D2

Alsarh is a peaceful nation that remains neutral even when conflict erupts in the surrounding nations. However, the Walara-Priunulia war is drawing in surrounding nations and the Alsarhian military is concerned that rebel groups may draw them into the conflict. To prevent this occurring, soldiers are sent out to Alsarh's borders to patrol. The elite 3rd Volorsk unit known as the 'Death Pack' is sent out to guard the hills around the ruins of the Great Wall of Alsarh, under the leadership of General Zaytsev. The rebel group rumoured to be active here are known as the Priunulia Freedom Front of PFF. They are little in number and poorly trained and equipped, but a threat the government wants to be neutralised before it grows any stronger.

A cry comes from one of the soldiers as he spotted a masked rebel lurking in the forest.

A firefight begins as both sides fire at each other while searching for cover.

The Alsarhian military far outclass the insurgent, with their superior body armour and the latest weaponry - M16s with grenade launchers attached - and they quickly surround the target.

The skirmish is short and sharp with the rebel quickly eliminated.

You need to use the BBC Code from flickr to insert your pictures so they are visible here. Go back and edit your post to try that. Also, let's use a normal size font so we don't have to squint the entire time reading

Overall a nice build with good minifigs posing. I like the bike design and the portable gas stove...but...i am afraid it is very near to ammunitions :laugh_hard:

Thanks, glad you like it. Yes thank goodness Alsarhian technology is so good, most imported gas stoves would have caught fire but premium Alsarhian products are designed with safety in mind so a disaster would not have occurred.

You’ve been awarded (2) points.

Judges’ comments…

This one didn't really have too much in the way of building. Focus a little bit on your landscape like texturing your base plate to look like more than what it is. Also same goes as before with the pictures. I did like the design on the bike.

Well, it's an early build and your guys are running around in full black gear with night vision.  Slow down, I know you're excited, but be sure to think about the setting.  Your troops are using night vision gear in a fully lit display!  Imagine how much wilder this could be if the lights were low, the lighting was behind you or very low, and then that forest is a lot more creepy!  Your lighting, once again, is good, but I want you to start throwing down some variation in terrain.  NO ground is that flat unless a sports team is playing there and you are paying over $50 a ticket to watch!  Slow down, get some feedback so your builds can grow, and you'll be fine.

Be Sure to Update Your AARs.

Thanks for playing!
