LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 17, 2019 Hello everyone, it's time to present my penultimate German locomotive: the BR203 112-8 ...a diesel locomotive that will be used for a project completed in November 2018 (suspense! )Actually it's a MOD of the Lego Set n. 3677. I added the handrails, the side doors to the cabin and the lights. Even the livery is all red with the CARGO logo.I hope you like the model ... it will soon be on duty with its whole convoy! XG BC Posted February 17, 2019 nice moc/mod i think moving the drivers cabin forward two studs would look more realistic in my opinion. XG BC
JopieK Posted February 17, 2019 Very nice, but the LEGO version is more like the original Dutch version that you also did in LEGO than the BR203 series. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NS_Class_6400

Pdaitabird Posted February 18, 2019 Nice looking locomotive! The custom decals and lights add a lot to the realism. Also nice part use for the door handle.

Roadmonkeytj Posted February 19, 2019 I like it... It's got a 9v era feel but still looks prototypical compared to the photos! Are they stickers from other sets or did you replicate official decals?

zephyr1934 Posted February 20, 2019 Phew, when I saw your fantastic steel mill I was afraid you were done building trains. Keeping up with the high quality designs. And yes, it is amazing how much difference a few simple stickers can make (still the builds them selves are fantastic). Are the yellow windshields on the Dutch version stickered trans clear windshields? Can't wait to see what you have in mind for this loco.

Thanks for your kind words ...yes the yellow windshields are a stickered version ...when you see the convoy for this locomotive you will jump from the chair
Rijkvv Posted February 21, 2019 I'd say a baureihe 203 (which is a variant of the East German V100) has its cab very close to the middle. Just looking at the pics and without measuring I'd say it's one stud offset from the middle.
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 21, 2019 Wow the cabin is so advanced in this picture...
XG BC Posted February 22, 2019 the locomotive you have built isnt a br 203 its rather a mak g 1206 wich looks like this: Hope that clarifies it once and for all. XG BC
