mattias_bygger Posted February 13, 2019 I'm trying to design custom utilities for minifigs to be printed on a 3D-printer. Now I'm looking for a correct model of a minifig to import into Fusion 360 when I'm modelling. I haven't been able to find any that's really good. So far I checked out the ones at www.printabrick.org and http://brandtteknik.dk/download/ Anyone has any suggestions?
Pdaitabird Posted February 13, 2019 You might try GrabCAD - it's my go-to source for 3D models of all kinds. I found several minifigs in their library...not sure how accurate they are, though. You could dimension the model you download and check it against a minifig with calipers.
mattias_bygger Posted February 13, 2019 Thanks for the tip Pdaitabird. I will register there and have a look. Seems to be a useful community! : ) If anyone else has a recommendation for a specific model, I would be grateful!

mattias_bygger Posted February 14, 2019 I found a model at GrabCAD that's OK. It's not exactly as the real figures, but I think it will do.
Pdaitabird Posted February 14, 2019 I'm glad you found a minifig model that you can use. I wonder how many Lego bricks it would take to build the wall? :)
