Professor Thaum Posted January 8, 2019 My son's just finished this junk for his ninjago stuff... He insisted for I licence it as a pirate ship, so be it ! Let me introduce yourself... The Red Dragon. probably a class 5 and its captain the infamous pirate Senseiwu C&C welcome, lots of pics and better pics as soon as I can take them... My son is 9 and I made pics all along the buildiing process following his duty step by step. THE SAILS AND THE TWO LANTERNS ON THE ROPE ARE FROM ME, SO IS THE FLAG. Captain Dee Posted January 8, 2019 Pretty good for a 9-year-old. He's got a significant amount of detail in there. The shape is quite nice and the swivel guns are pretty cool. Tell him to keep it up.
Darnok Posted January 8, 2019 Aye, a really nice ship. Lots of good detailing all around, and solid playability. Well done! I hope the ship fares well, and you have many an epic to share with your son about its upcoming adventures.
Capt Wolf Posted January 8, 2019 You're obviously raising your son right! Nice work on the ship. And he's pushing you to license it in the game! I'm with Drunknok on this one: I hope you and your son have many epic adventures!
Bregir Posted January 8, 2019 Seeing this, I am ashamed by my first ship after the dark ages! Very nice shaping - while the inspiration from Destiny's Bounty is clear, it is also obvious that this is a constructionally very different vessel! The colour choices are a bit exotic, but not overly so, and I really like what I am seeing. Considering it is a 9 year old... You have a good advisor at hand for your own ship building! I am hoping to see better pictures of this, and wish it all the best of luck in the Brick Seas. And I think you and your son should think up a story for it too, something I am unfortunately missing on quite a few ships posted here. I must prefer ships with a story and description, and with that and new pictures here, you will lift this post considerably
Bart Posted January 8, 2019 Looks good! Inventive balcony on the stern to ward off sneaky stern attacks

Lol Things I like about the build The figurehead fits great with the feel The shape is convincing I like the Shields use on the sides look good as well as all the swivel guns Things I would change for next time Larger sails or a third mast
Bodi Posted January 11, 2019 Your son did that, and he's only 9 years old, bravo, thumb up. It's a very good looking junk, my only suggestion is to remove the bowsprit, and if your son wants more realism, he may use it as a third mast, he may place it perpendicularly on the bow.
