I forgot to mention we will browse the Pasing LEGO store of course in the evening - it's AFOL shopping day on Saturday.
Do you all have the RLUG-sticker on your VIP card?

And there will be some other retailers in Munich as well.

I hope there will be some Mustangs left. Would be a nice price with the discount.

Going by train will cost around 10€ per person. (53€ for a group of 5, 46€ for 4).
Advantages: We can stay together all day, don't need extra tickets in Munich
Disadvantages: More expensive, longer trip, dependent on train connections.

- Viktualienmarkt

- Englischer Garten - might be interesting with good weather only

- flea market in the Olympia Park

- BMW World, also close to the Olympia Park

Please raise your voices to put a nice course for Saturday together. :classic:

I think going by train is also not really that expansive with 10€. (Gas and Parking will also add up I guess) And then we can have fun in the train!

I like these Options!
Englischer Garten is really nice with good weather.
Same for Viktualienmarkt.
Flea Market would be maybe nice to hunt for some LEGO
And I have never been at BMW World but I have heard that it is amazing!

So do I! :wub_drool:

Maybe we should aim for the store first? :look: But then we would have to handle big shopping bags... Lockers at the central station?

That was my thought too... I know that there are lockers at the central station. 24h for 3-5€.

If not cars, we maybe need some daycard for train, u and sbahn or something?

It will be included in the train ticket I think. That is how it was last time.

It seems it would be cheaper not to come, after looking at thoose parts from the Fabrik :p

If the LEGO Stores in Europe will get the same parts that are showing up in the US, it would be some nice ones in the PaB to :)

Go twice, they won’t remember what you bought. Or choose a different cashier. Or let another eventee get some for you.

I'm not sure if the weight limit also counts for those big plates. :look:
We'll see.

Or as we did with the Unikitty: Send different eventees with your purchase

I know I won't be needing anything specific to such a weight, I am too random with my building and projects that I can't pre-plan well! I am happy to be a "mule" for Bricks

I'm currently working on the program for Saturday in Munich.

Is there interest for the BMW world? We can have a guided tour in English, called the 'compact tour' on Saturday at 15:30. Duration 1 hour, fees 7,50€ adults, 6,50€ students and the like.
If we find a majority for this, I'd like to call them in advance to check if this works.

The other options I mentioned earlier are on the list: Viktualienmarkt and the flea market.

And I'm still undecided, if we should visit the Pasing LEGO store in the morning/midday. :look:
If some of you want to buy a particular set, an early visit promises more availability.
But we can decide that on Thursday/Friday.

The weather forecast doesn't look too bright, but what do they know?

I'm flexible for lunch and dinner, last time I was in Munich we had great burgers at Hans im Gluck . If we're somewhere in the vicinity, that would be a nice option. Do you think we should have reservations for 8 people?

Sorry for replying so late.
I checked the location and the one you mention is very close to the BMW world and Olympia Park. But there are also two more branches
in Munich.

I'm ok with visiting BMW, although I'm not a fan.

As for the AFOLshopping, I plan to grab few sets if possible, but I don't mind the timing of the store visiting. I guess we can leave bags at the station/cars.

Always the social side for me also :classic: So long as I get a coffee and some lunch (or I become ever so sad, mournful not hangry!) We are good

I also think that it should be possible to store the bags at the train station or something similar. So for me personally I would prefer to visit the LEGO store first
