Do you think that it would work for us as adult. The voucher sais "family" but also "(4 Persons)" so I am not sure... But would be a good deal again

It sure looks that way. I don't see any remarks about kids or ages.

Thanks for pointing this out, Skalldyr!

Yes, please - do look out for vouchers! This time we don't need many...

hmmm maybe we should look out for these ones:

https://www.parkerlebnis.de/kelloggs-freizeitpark-gutscheine-2019-merlin_38020.html

they seem to include a group of 5 afols for sure.

These vauchers sound great, but I guess they're available in Germany only. Here, all we get is a kid's discount if accompanied by an adult. Not really useful for AFOLs.

This one says 1 child ticket per adult ticket.

so 2 adults and 3 kids.

The website shown in the link above states that 5 people can get in the park for 50%. Valid for single day tickets. Resctrictions are for the Discovery Centers and LEGOland Billund. Günzburg is not mentioned.
I'll look out for these.

That I see now :)
We have them in the store, so tell me if I should buy my self some food :)

Yes, please do so. Normally I'm not into Kellog's products - I would have bought them just for the coupons.

They only had the coupons on the helthy stuff, so I took the coupons and gave the helathy stuff to someone else :p

I then got 2 coupons for 10 people in my suitcase :)

We're coming closer and I would like to talk about the program.

Friday is a no-brainer as we're going to the park and of course the Fabrik.

Im trying to fix a program for Saturday.
We have to decide if we go to Munich by train or by car. This time all eventees would fit in two cars so this is an option.

If we go by car I propose to split the fuel costs for the drivers.
Advantages: Cheaper, faster.
Disadvantages: We have to split for the ride, parking in Munich, tickets for local transport eventually still needed.

Going by train will cost around 10€ per person. (53€ for a group of 5, 46€ for 4).
Advantages: We can stay together all day, don't need extra tickets in Munich
Disadvantages: More expensive, longer trip, dependent on train connections.

Train connections:
09:42- 11:21: Train from Günzburg to Munich central station
21:07 - 22:41: Train from Pasing station to Günzburg station (there is also an earlier option)

Are there special places in Munich you would like to see? Or something you under no circumstance want to see again? Please tell us.
Here's a list of what is interesting - and what we haven't seen the last times :

- Viktualienmarkt

- Englischer Garten - might be interesting with good weather only

- flea market in the Olympia Park

- BMW World, also close to the Olympia Park

- Bavaria Movie City - 27,50€ p.p. and quite outside Munich :look:

Besides all that there's still: Frauenkirche, Marienplatz, Hofbräuhaus, Nymphenburger Schloss.

Where will we have lunch, where dinner?
We have been to Hirschgarten in 2013 and to https://www.augustinerkeller.de/home/ in 2017. Both attractive places when sitting outside in the Biergarten, but that's propably not an option early April. Still nice inside, too.

Please raise your voices to put a nice course for Saturday together. :classic:

If the weather is dry, I'd love to visit the Englisher Garten. The other suggestions sound interesting too.

I'm flexible for lunch and dinner, last time I was in Munich we had great burgers at Hans im Gluck . If we're somewhere in the vicinity, that would be a nice option. Do you think we should have reservations for 8 people?

Anything is fine by me :)

I don't like car's but that BMW thing looks amazing, at least the buildings
And a flea market is always fun.

Not much of a sightseeing person, so I don't mind where or how we. We can also sit in the Biergarten all day long :D

I forgot to mention we will browse the Pasing LEGO store of course in the evening - it's AFOL shopping day on Saturday.
Do you all have the RLUG-sticker on your VIP card?

And there will be some other retailers in Munich as well.

I love exploring a city, so I am happy to wander along to any places. Toyshops are always welcome  I do have a LUG Sticker on my card for the LEGO Shop.

Plus, I am happy to pitch in for fuel and parking money.
