In Swedish folklore Santa is called Tomten, a dwarven like fellow.

Midwinter's nightly frost is hard

Brightly the stars are beaming,

Fast asleep is the lonely Yard,

All, at midnight, are dreaming.

Clear is the moon, and the snow-drifts shine,

Glistering white, of fir and pine,

Covers on rooflets making.

None but tomten is waking,

It's shift change time for the department store Santas.  The arriving Santas are fresh and energetic and the departing Santas are exhausted after their 10 hour shift.

This year Santa sits down to have a nice, big feast with Mrs. Claus. He enjoys the tender turkey and the buttered croissants and makes sure to have a healthy salad on the side. Afterwards, he tops it off with a warm cup of tea as he has a long night ahead. Ho, ho, ho, and Merry Christmas!
