I must say, I've quite enjoyed building some of the smaller models as well.

@Ninjago_fan2123  The 80mm/8cm outer cable piece is not available in reddish brown, but I know where you can find the parts you are looking for.

Here is the link to the Bricklink page for the 80mm/8cm rigid hose piece:

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=75c10#T=C

Link to Brickowl for same part:

For the 144mm/14.4cm rigid hose piece, here are the links:

Brickowl:

Hopefully this will help.

I'm back after a long break. Just recently I resumed work on the Garma Mecha Man. A lot more progress has been made. I rebuilt the shark ammo chain and updated the shark cannon.

Not only that, the Garma Mecha Man is now posed the same way as it is in the render seen in the making of the movie book.

The mech is closer than ever to completion.

I'm so glad you're still working on this! I hope you enjoyed your long break, I was worried you had disappeared! Once this is done all you have left is the Ice Tank, correct? BTW, are you still interested in custom parts creation, I may have some extra time again to work on the Dragon Snout and the larger tire of the Quake Mech, and maybe even some custom labelling. I've been playing around a lot lately with Blender and learning some tutorials. If nobody else is interested I'd love to jump on it and help you all get to your goals of 1:1 movie mech mapping!

Cheers all!

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anyone knew about another shark army vehicle, I'm not sure if it has an official name but I'd just call it the "Hammerhead shark helicopter"

Since I have forgotten how to upload pictures on here, ill share a link to some gameplay of the Lego Ninjago movie videogame gameplay: https://youtu.be/ta8myWx5kvI

I'd say skip to 17:49 to see the vehicle.

@zweifuss Yep. The last vehicle to build is the Ice Tank. After Zane's tank is finished, all the mechs will be complete. Speaking of custom parts, I extracted the full-sized Quake Mech's tire from the game and turned it into a part which can be used in Bricklink's Studio 2.0 software using PartDesigner. Sizing was hard but I think it's perfect now.

@Ninjago_fan2123 I know about the hammerhead dropship. However, I'm focused on building the main mechs which appear in the film. After all the main mechs from the movie are finished, I will make the hammerhead dropship.

Wow cool nice work on that. I played the game when it was released for free about a year ago by Lego, and I couldn't find any spots where the actual movie mechs were, so I gave up on that. What scene in particular did you Ninja Rip? Anyway it looks great, can't wait to see what you have next. Will you be releasing the Studio models as well on your Bricksafe page?

You know what I have noticed for a while now that whoever designed the videogame thought It would be a good idea to change the red variation of the drones number from a 03 to 08.

@zweifuss In chapter 6 of the game's story, there is a part where you have to help Cole out of his mech. The mech model the developers used in this level is the movie model. This is the one I ripped.

Sometime in the future, I will release the mechs as Studio files.

I was doing some research on the Ninjago city vehicles and found out that most of them come from lego city and the first lego movie.

Weirdly enough the boats, helicopters, and some other stuff are not from pre-existing lego movies/themes.

( Also, I'm not saying that anyone has to build these or any of that, which I'm sure some people must've misinterpreted some stuff I had said in the past. )

Just thought that I would mention these since I'd figure some people would find it interesting.

Are there any vehicles that kinda stand out (except for the schoolbus)?

I think that would have to be the monorail train, aside from the others like the chicken man tuk and the pretzel cart, they seem to be original.

Including that Emmet's car was used in the movie, but just slightly modified.

Hey, @blue72 I was wondering what base did you use to build the Ninjago city street?

I was wondering what you're guy's opinion would be for Nya's water strider that I'm working on.

So in the film and the amazing accurate design that GLAP23 made, that its color is a Titanium Metalic or a Dark Gray Titanium Metalic, and also with the set being in all black with the other colors for the vehicle.

This kinda had me confused on which color scheme would be used for the vehicle.

Would it be black, or dark bluish gray ? (since not every lego piece is in Titanium Metalic).

So I kinda figured that her vehicle would be dark bluish-gray since the color, in reality, is a metallic gray color and not full-on black, and I mean even her Ninjago outfit is a gray color.

What I'm asking is, Was it the best decision to do dark bluish-gray, or should've I gone with the black color scheme from the set.

This is also the same thing with the trans-light blue color that's used, which I changed for dark azure.

Can I have a closer look at your "nightmare interlocking system with pins"? I checked LDD Shark mech and the bottom jaw isn't attached to anything.

Probably have some that are colliding with each other. If you have developer mode enabled. Click toggle physics test then reload the file
