Lego Technic Future Concept - VOLVO DV-18

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, here is my lego model for Volvo competition -  future construction vehicle, fully autonomous. Whole model stands on four high-grip tracks. It has steering for both axles, detailed generator which can move while you riding. At the back there is an antenna that senses the signal from the communication device.
It has gearbox with L motor for three functions:
- raising the boom
- extending boom
- rotating superstructure(through 360 degrees)
You can also choose between hook or manually operating grabber. Enjoy, future is here!

So cool... this has to win.  Not only does it look good, it's functions all work flawlessly. I also like the idea of a 42069-ish undercarriage

Great functions, futuristic look and those colors...

Could you share some photo's of the mechanics and tell a little bit about it?

What exactly did you want to take a picture of? :)

Well, I'm always interested in the mechanical struggles of builders, and how they overcame them.

Given the amount of functions I'd love to see how densely you packed the mechanics in there.
